Is this guy actually on Team Legion? His post in the thread was quoting another. Which seems to imply he's been a long time user from when the hack was private, and that others will soon discover the private side of the hack. That is how further posters in the thread interpreted it as well, when the guy he was talking to asked what he meant. LgNKami himself did not reply. Another name that stood out is Orb. This guy is clearly not the popular Orb. However, following his post history led me to something interesting. He had his account boosted into GM and in fact this same site which is offering hacks is offering GM boosting even into top 16. This may explain why NMxBlazinT is being leveled by a Protoss this season instead of a Terran. They have sold at least 97 grandmasters accounts in the last year, judging by feedback score, most likely a bit more. So beware, apparently there are actually a lot of fake GM accounts as well. Some unknowns who suddenly rise into GM may actually be account boosted rather than hacking. Another name that kinda stands out on that list is DJTesla. I believe she was pretty popular at one point in SC2. Not saying thats her or not, but weird to see her ID on that list. | ||

That way his identity won't be leaked unless he wants it to be. Although I really do doubt you. | ||

Right when my overlord is about to fly into his base to scout, he sends his only two marines to wait for it. Once he kills it (9:09), he sends marines back to his forward bunker. 12:30 Has walled supply depots lowered for much of the game, only raises them when my lings poke close to his natural entrance. Other thoughts... he scans twice on my army perfectly. Also, I wonder why he didn't get starports earlier to preemptively defend my brood lords. Either he is worse than I am at this game even with hacks, or the previous notes I wrote about him were entirely coincidence. | ||

I agree that it could be a good idea to have someone who downloaded the hacks to make videos of how they actually work and what it looks like, in order to inform others and make hackers easier to spot. Have considered doing it myself but I only have one account that I don't want anything bad to happen to. Plus I don't think any of these high level players would do it because just by having the hack it may put suspicion on them using it for laddering too. For what we can see in replays and on Impa's stream, we have a pretty good idea of how to spot them, the hard part is figuring out how to get them to leave and stop fucking up the highest levels of the ladder. Also, I know this is based on the American server, but I've always wondered about the Korean server too. If it is as easy as it seems to get the hacks, could the Korean server be infested as well? Or does needing to use an social security number to play in korea have anything to do with it? | ||

I would like to get a second opinion on whether or not this player is map hacking. I have never played against a map hacker before (to my knowledge) but after a game today I thought it was so suspicious that I would look over the replay, especially considering how prevalent map hacking seems right now on the ladder (just from looking over this thread). Here is a link to the replay: http://drop.sc/201056 It is a PvZ with me playing as the Protoss. He starts off with a 6 pool, which is not in any way suspicious. I defend it and decide to go for a 4 gate counter attack. Note he has no vision of my natural. If you watch the play through he looks at my base through the FOW several times. After I cancel the pylon walling my natural in he looks at it. A couple of minutes or so later he looks back at my core and gateways (through the FOW). I then send a probe out onto the map to get up a proxy pylon. From his POV he sends lings directly after it (to the bottom right) and catches it perfectly. All that without seeing it or knowing a probe was even out on the map. He at first sends them to the watch tower, but then after my probe to the bottom right seemingly using the minimap! I confronted him after watching the replay, and he neither comfirmed or denied he was map hacking. He just said "we're not in wc3 bro" and then going unresponsive. Looking at his account it looks like he could be being boosted up into masters. Right now he is high diamond, but his win ratio (at least in the last few games) doesn't seem too good if he is map hacking. Cheers, Seohce | ||
