You have to provide some kind of evidence/proof (screenshots/replays etc.) if you are going to accuse somebody.
Additionally, a supporting comment of what people should be looking for and when will be necessary if you are posting replays/evidence. |
Hey guys I have a relevant question:
Do people really meet hackers on ladder on a regular basis? I play mid-masters on EU and I don't think I've met more than one, some guy that 2gated me on a 4 player map without scouting my base first, but seriously.... Do you guys think people are just looking for exuses as to why they're not improving? I'm not saying hackers don't exist but they're so rare they don't affect me at all. I understand if there is a well-known gm out there possibly hacking you want to get to the bottom of it, but am I the only one in master league fortunate enough to not get a hacker "1 out of 4 games"???

Probably because EU people are smarter and use the ladder for practice, in NA you have a bunch of noobs trying to get advantage of other noobs by faking GM and stuff like that.
That is also why EU level is WAY way higher.

Ask for his past 15 zvz games :D You're welcome lol at people saying henry hacks. Known him since he started sc2. He's just that good. He even streams games, and commentates on his shitty ass PC. He's the farthest thing FROM a hacker. Just sounds like a bunch of butt hurt kids.
Love the 2 post troll tryin to say he hacks. You call a top GM player that got there through SKILL a hacker because he knows how to play and counter strategies. Nice.
Even funnier is the rare time he's playing and I'll ask who he's playing, I'll watch the other persons vision (he doesn't always stream sadly) and watch him get ass raped by protosses doing blink all ins, and such. It's fun to watch pro henry lose, because it doesn't happen often.

This thread should put a header on top reminding everyone we are looking for hackers in the top ~400 of each region. And to not accuse people without replays (or reasons for suspicion, such as log of games where they always have the BO advantage). Any other accusations should be just ignored (e.g. Henry shouldn't even have to supply logs when the accusation is so weak).

With that knowledge your winrate pretty much is locked at best at 75% but if you win maybe half your games you rate of winning is well below 50% which just isn't exceptable so we as a community should be doing everything in our power to get these hackers removed from the game no matter what their level is and this laid back rather lazy who cares attitude of yours if followed would only create a surge of hackers on every level rather then rooting them out. 1 out of 4 is still a very bad percentage and I don't know how people can think it isn't.

That is also why EU level is WAY way higher. There's just as many hackers on EU as NA stfu with your elitism and quit making ignorant statements like this cause you only come off as an asshole. Both ladders contrary to the believe of many of those on EU are pretty even maybe there's a slight skill gap in favor of EU but it's no where near the level that you're proclaiming it to be. So the sheer fact of the closeness in skill level and amount of hackers makes your statement nothing more the arrogant babble.

I have a second account stuck in diamond that hits far far more hackers than my main account which is mid masters O.O

Played hendralisk many times, hell i even countered his build in a tourney by using his match history. Literally a hard counter and he ran right into it. Hendralisk is just a good solid player.

Played CombatEx few days ago and he proxy gated me on taldarim without even scouting. Next thing a I know, a zealot pops out inside my base out of no where after second supply. ( I hope i still have the replay because it has been a few days ago) I watched the replay after the game and he literally just went straight to my spawning location and warped a pylon without scouting 0_0

not rly. also, hes quite right. i think there are more hackers on NA than on EU, and whoever denies the skillgap is simply not a high masters+ player, where the difference shines most. look at EU results and NA results in the past 6 months. Also, i dont know any player who plays both servers and has better results on EU - but a ton of ppl where it is the other way around. i know a guy who is around rank 50-100 on eu @ gm, he went on NA and was top 16 within 2 weeks, with some ppl wondering who this guy is. Just an example, there is a difference in skill, which doesnt mean NA players are all crap and EU players are all incredibly good obviously.

Actually you're the ignorant one, indirectly he's saying you're not as good as you think you are, you don't want to face that fact and wipe it off as elitism. Whatever makes you sleep at night bro.

CombatEx doesnt play sc2 anymore he retired, a guy took his name and this guy is a maphacker, he proxy 2 gate on 4 player spawn locations in pvp , I had like 5-6 replays of that. Very blatant.

You misunderstand me, I'm saying I rarely ever run into hackers. Yet a lot of people claim they run into them consistently. Do I simply not watch closely enough/care enough about this, or are people just jumping to conclusions and looking to blame their losses on something not in their hands (other than balance, for once).
My question is, did hack whining just become the new balance whining overnight?
