You have to provide some kind of evidence/proof (screenshots/replays etc.) if you are going to accuse somebody.
Additionally, a supporting comment of what people should be looking for and when will be necessary if you are posting replays/evidence. |

Maphacking is hardly a crime. Sure we don't like it. We could argue (though we'd be wrong) that maphacking ruins the "integrity" of our game. Even so ruining the career/reputation of a gamer is orders of magnitude worse than maphacking and TL has done that already to several pro gamers.
Please close this thread.
This thread isn't about Spades, so your post doesn't belong here. On a side note, I have a clear opinion on Spades and it won't be long before light is brought over his case, though this won't be my doing.

Yeah I've reported him a few times but he's still on like every day.

Reporting DO work. The thing is that Blizzard tend to ban in waves, for several reasons. They had to act fast with Impa as he had gained a lot of visibility from the community and was also high into grand masters. Venusaur, being only a top masters, doesn't require immediate attention from Blizz I believe. Let's see if at the next patch, his account still remains.

I don't find that fair at all because I ran into him on ladder recently, and I find it incredibly frustrating to deal with hackers, especially since some of us want to become pro some day. aha.

In the North American WCS thread there is discussion that, apparently a known hacker is one of those players getting a paid flight out to MLG Anaheim! Someone called Zack got an invite through ladder qualification!
Blizzard are not being swift enough to act.

Fegis by watching the replay he doesn't scout at all and looks at my base my scouting units once in a while. Very obvious. He even attacks my army halfway across the map without having any way of knowing I was there. Also picking off my viking in the exact time I land it at his 3rd. Very obvious maphacker didn't even try to hide it.

Seeing how sick Grubby's micro is I'd really want to see how HerO would handle the most micro intensive part of that match. (Not discrediting Grubby or his micro at all but honestly HerO can go gosu mode and just micro and multitask like an unstoppable monster)
And to add to the manner just because Grubby always manner to everyone (if he runs into Kas or Stephano on ladder they'll have some friendly trolling that looks like BM but its just messing around) He's like the EU version of Sheth along with White-ra/Thorzain.
But watching that stream we pretty much shouted in chat he was a known mh'er and even though it looked kind of close at some points Grubby just destroyed him with micro and some pretty good decision making as well.
Just goes to show mh'ers pretty much have bronze level mechanics, epm (openly admitting to being bronze but watching replays they match my terrible 60-70 epm every game) and need to use hacks to even have a chance against GM let alone a silver player that could probably beat them in a fair game.

He proxy 2 rax'd me on antiga without scouting (he hid his rax's at my 3rd without knowing my spawn location), he was looking into the fog of war at my base constantly (again didn't even know my spawn location), and then he called me a hacker when I beat him. I honestly think he WANTS to be caught hacking for the troll/publicity. I talked to the next 3 players that he played on ladder after me, and two of them thought he hacking as well. If anybody wants the replay you can pm me.

Isnt it pretty BM from blizzard to get all the map-hackers into bronce. I mean for all those poor bronce league players. Ofcourse usually they will stop playing but what if they are not. Its like someone in high level boxing, fights with a knive, so instead of taking the knive (wich isnt possible in this case) they are just matched against someone whos really bad at boxing.
Well i know no one cares about bronce but comeone...

Well i know no one cares about bronce but comeone... It is just their policy. They will almost never permanently ban someone for violating the rules for the first time , so there has to be a rough alternate way to punish the hackers , which is temporary ban and demote to bronze , if they get caught the second time however they will get perm banned.

I know this probably wont do anything but Naugrim on the EU server is a map hacker. He obviously changed the direction of his ovie right after the placement of a proxy rax, this was on the twitch stream of ogsforgg. i asked him for the replay so that i could post it here, but whether it being the language barrier or dgaf he didnt. so just thought id throw it out there, despicable.

Not another name I recognize =_=

What? Naugrim isn't a maphacker, he was my teammate and I played against him, he didn't hack.

Not to mention his post is almost as vague as hearsay, wtih no easily checkable information / replay, even though that is somewhat explained. I wouldn't put any stock in such accusations because they are easy to make and easy to ruin someone's reputation.

You probably should not say things like this unless you are certain some1 hacks.
Kinda lame thing to do you know.

No replay no proof. Just a movement change of a ovi doesnt proove anything anyway...

If you want to play normal then go and try and beat them. I should say I never have hacked a game, but I loved "god mode" in games I've played. I guess what I am saying is don't take this so seriously, unless you are a pro it doesn't matter. (even then tourny results matter not ladder)
So if people want to add a few queens to their side on a chessboard, that's allright and you should just try to beat them normally?
Cheating is NOT allright in multiplayer, as the enjoyment of all parties involved matters, not just of one of the participants. This kind of entitlement is exactly what's wrong in today's multiplayer scene, it's all "MEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEME".
