They release an almost yearly update with the iPhones, with "new" features that could've been implemented in the previous one or two versions. They do that to make it seem like each version has a considerable upgrade than the last one... Same here with HotS from WoL. That's what business and marketing is all about.

The players that have left for LOL or whatever aren't coming back. Good, casualplayers who aren't interested in getting better for the most part. Most of the players who are interested in Sc2 as an e-sport will still be watching the tournaments and buying HotS, so I don't really see it as that big of an issue.

It is also possible that Blizzard just had completely the wrong idea about what the community valued in the previous game and have been playing catch up since then. The improvements they have made since launch suggests the latter to me. Companies make mistakes and to just assume they do them on purpose is a tad extreme. You're suggesting they intentionally sabotaged their major release product so as to provide old features during the expansion. What if WOL completely flopped? It's not impossible but I find it highly unlikely that they would do this on purpose.

Talk about a step in the right direction, oh how my faith has been restored! Not. Sorry my chain has been yanked around for the last two years. I bet half of those features don't even make release. I also bet they charge for the patch. Also I feel like they are taunting me by saying "Can you believe Flash will be playing Sc2 now?" No I can't believe flash is playing Sc2.

I know they screwed up and at least they are trying to fix that mistake(whether if its due to profit, marketing, saving brand name, pure goodness on their heart is pure speculation) which at least is somewhat condemnable. I am basing what I say based on facts, you are angry based on speculation. You have 0 proof of your claims and while it can be frustrating it doesn't change the fact that this by any means is a step in the right direction.
