The only thing that really holds me back is I never go in with a plan and hope things go well. Need to find someone able to work with higly shy/anxious person. Time you're free to learn: Very flexible. Brief description about you: I'm nearly 28 years old nerd, I've been into StarCraft for a while. Started out as the lowest of the low Bronze, with no prior RTS experience. I fell in love with the game, because it offered me something to aim for, to further improve myself as a person along with it; pushing my own limits. Since then, I reached Masters league, attempted to compete at various tournaments in my country, practiced for a month at the Ministry of Win Gaming house & tried my shot at last DreamHack Summer. I'll be going to try & fight at DHS this year as well. Sadly, since my young years, I've been suffering from horrid anxiety issues & they became my wall I have yet to overcome; as this anxiety made it nearly impossible to reach out to people, even if they like the same thing as I do. The fact is, I horribly underperform when playing in front of audience and it's something I need to tackle, somehow, anyhow, just not sure how, without breaking myself apart, because if I leave it as it is, it leaves me very unhappy & demotivated to play. I'd love to find a mentor who's familiar with these things & would be able to guide me through it, as well as to solidify & diverse my game a bit more. Don't want to go any deeper here about all of it here, but I would be happy for a PM, in case you are interested.  | ||

Brief description about you: I have played SC2 before but I have not played mulitplayer at all since HOTS came out. I played Protoss before but I decided I want to play Terran instead. Highest I have been on the ladder is platinum as Protoss. I've been using Zerg since Wings of Liberty, and occasionally playing 1v1 Ladder. I left off in Top Gold, then stopped playing 1v1's a couple Seasons. Since Heart of the Swarm came out- I kept Zerg, did Placements once recently and didn't do that well- so I "Left Ladder"- and started Protoss. I won all 5 (4) of my Placements (The last guy left instantly.) It put me up against 2 Bronze- 1 Silver -1 Gold-1 Platinum *Who Left* It put me in "Silver League" >.< . I did save my first 4 Placement Replays though- so you can get an idea of how I am. What you are hoping to achieve: Getting to at least Diamond League as soon as I can, and learn as quick as I can. =-). Time you're free to learn: My schedule is pretty open. Currently, I'm on at least 5-7 days a week from anywhere from 4p.m.- 5-6a.m. So pretty much- I have almost all-day, every-day. Brief description about you: I've been playing Zerg since Starcraft/BroodWar- but never that into 1v1 Ladder until recently. I placed Gold in Wings of Liberty- got up to Rank 1, then stopped 1v1'ing. Then I stopped Solo Ladder a couple Seasons until Heart of the Swarm released. Just did my Placements a few days ago as Protoss/Zerg and Left Ladder- then started as Zerg but decided to throw my matches, Leave Ladder and switch Races to Protoss. I won all my Placements (but it was all Bronze-Silver-Gold) So now I'm wanting to get better at Protoss- learn good builds against each race, learn to read what tech opponent is heading towards and good Opening Builds. Wanting to get lessons as often as I can, since I'm pretty open in my almost 24/7 schedule and really wanting to improve my overall 1v1 Ladder Game as quick as I can, and get to at least Diamond now. | ||

Server: NA Race: Protoss League: Platinum What you are hoping to achieve: Masters, but mostly a greater understanding of the game Time you're free to learn: All day weekends, 4pm-9pm Pacific on weekdays Brief description about you: I started playing SC2 in November '12 as Terran, and moved from Bronze to Gold thanks to filterSC's youtube videos. Stopped playing in late December, but came back for HotS. Switched to Protoss because... they're cool? Lots of little reasons, but I've loved it. I was doing well till I started getting higher in Platinum. I've hit a wall, losing a lot of games to Zerg (have a 33% win rate this season), but I'm confused on how to do PvP as well. PvT is the one match-up I feel like I sort of "get". Anyways, will be messaging a few couches in this thread. | ||
