I started out playing Starcraft back in BroodWar, but never online, it was always against computers or family. When SC2 came out, I didn't have the money, so I had to wait half a year and I was only then playing it on my sister's account. I got placed in gold, started out as zerg, didn't get very far and got bored of 1v1s, so I just played custom games. Then halfway through season 5 I got back into playing 1v1s, I placed in Platinum as Protoss, and since then I've been working my way up to Diamond and then to Masters, all as Protoss. I started getting bored of them though, so I switched to Terran, then back to Protoss, then to Random, then back to Protoss. Then as the HotS beta came out, I started playing Zerg on there and officially switched to Zerg at the end of the beta.
The Zerg race fits my playstyle very well, I love being agressive and having a lot of information, I never like playing in the dark, creep spread and overlords help me do this, as well as zerglings.
Why should I pick you for coaching?Well as I just pointed out, I've played all of the races at a Masters level, I have solid knowledge of all match ups, and I'm very good at analyzing mistakes/problem areas. I've done coaching before, you can find my old posts on the free coaching thread. I helped a Protoss friend of mine move from Mid-Diamond to Mid-Masters.
-Affordable rates
-We can practice the way you like, going over replays, custom 1v1s, etc. I will offer my own insight on it however and explain why I think X is the way to go.
-I'm very friendly and easy-going
-I will never tell you you're bad, I will always encourage and build confidence
-Will play custom games for practice*
-Will play arcade games for practice* (e.g. Micro Tournament, Marine splits, etc)
-You will have me on skype and can ask me questions anytime*
-If you have ladder anxiety, I will be there to help you through it, sometimes all we need is a helping hand*
-Can teach all races from a Bronze-Masters level
*These are usually on my own time, a bonus.
Rates$12CAD per hour, however we can work on a deal. I will handle it on a person to person basis, but that is the standard rate.
