I actually find it much easier to shave just my cheeks and neck than to shave entirely. If you want to shave entirely you either need to use an electric shaver which often leaves annoying stubbles, or you'll have to use shaving foam not to cut yourself - but if you just want to get rid of the hairs on your neck and cheek, leaving your chin, a mustache and optionally a line drawing from your ears down to your chin, you can just spend a minute or two with a simple razor and some hot water and you're done. For some reason you don't really need shaving foam for those areas - I guess it's the parts of the face that curve around your jawbone that complicates things? An electric trimmer will let you keep the beard at a proper length, which is also very easy. Point being, if Wolf wants to maintain a beard, it's easier than having to shave entirely. (Unless his facial hair is in some way different to mine, I suppose) | ||

As someone with a beard, it's WAY easier to trim it a couple of times a week and touch up a few spots here and there than it is to do a full-on shave every morning. We're talking a difference of 5 min once or twice a week vs. 3-4 minutes every day! | ||

Dierdorf has had facial hair for ages while doing his broadcasts. Dennis Miller had a full beard when he did MNF. James Brown has a mustache. It may not be the norm, but it's certainly not unheardof, and if you think you can't look professional with a beard, you're fooling yourself. | ||
