I have to admit, as I've gotten further into the campaign it's challenging me a bit more.

Ahhh, I'm remembering how fun Zerg is to play in SC1.

Hey guys, I don't know if it's been reported already but I didn't see it mentioned in the last couple of pages so I figure I'll report it just in case it hasn't come up yet. I'm playing through Iron Fist and I'm running across the same progression bug I ran into in the last version of Overmind. Before in Overmind if you didn't beat Agent of the Swarm after New Dominion you would need to play Egression again because it was the mission the progress bar halted at before you beat Dominion. I finished Birds of War version of the Emperor's Fall (amazing cinematic at the end of that by the way, that was polished product quality I would think actually came from Bliz if I didn't know it was a mod) and as it was late I didn't begin the next mission on Aiur. Unfortunately upon loading in to check it this morning 5a and 5b are still the latest missions that are available so I think it's the same issue from Overmind (which did not reoccur this version). Just wanted to let you guys know.

That problem also happens after Starcraft: Mass Recall P4.6 - Return to Char.
So after the 1st occour, I always started the new mission & saved at the beginning....so I could load it.

Also, not that big problem, but after finishing Omega and watched the cinematic, I went back to the SCMR menu and saw that you can't select the ending cinematic. It doesn't show up.

Another progression bug in Iron Fist. I started To Chain The Beast and lost out because I totally spaced on the Torrasque from the second Cerebret but called it a night instead of going at it again. Loading in to try it again my last available mission is Patriot's Blood.

Is there a reason that these maps can't be put on the arcade? Dose Blizzard keep them from putting them up or something.

They're simply too big. Might be uploaded individually, but it would break the "campaign" continuity, also require multiple accounts since you have a limit on how many maps you can host on the arcade.

I'm having an issue with the graphics. Everything is up-to-date and I'm running a GTX 780ti.
The only issue is that the hydralisks are pink?

Is anyone else getting pink hydralisks?

Hello! This mod is so amazing, but I started to have a problem after I installed windows 10, I cant save any games aymore from this mod. Before I had no problem, I uninstalled whole Starcraft 2 and the mod but this problem still exist, anyone knows the problem?

I love this mod, it's really awesome. I recently started to play through it again to check out the changes in the newest version and I am amazed. Especially "installing" it so you can simply load a save game while logged into battle.net is really nice (last time I played you still had to open the maps in the editor to play).
I am using the retro version of the mod and I was just wondering why the probes are sc2 style rather than star1 style? I remember playing some mod were they looked like brood war probes (either sc2bw or starbow) and I was wondering why you guys didn't include that?

Nothing serious problem, but you should change the 1st page a little bit, since CranK has finished MR, whereas the 1st page says episode 1-3

oh, and there was an interesting thing in his video. Never seen anything like that...

Huh, yeah - as he's flying his Overlords in, suddenly they all go from full to empty - all the units died *inside* the Overlord.

I didn't know that was actually possible. Obviously SOME sort of bug, but... I have no idea what might cause that Oo;

I noticed the same thing on that map. The infested terrans killed everything inside my overlords whenever I tried to drop there.

I have been playing this mod since its early days and have loved everything about, even too the point I though that some of the music was from Starcraft 1 since it fit so well, like Metallic Monks from Fallout at the beginning of Zerg campaign.

I even like the new model for the Marines that looks like old school SC1 Marines and the style they wore in the SC1 cinematics. I also love the new Battlecrusier model, I wish I could transfer it to SC2, since the SC2 stock one looks so cartoonish.

My only real complaint is about the UED, I think it would look cooler and add more to them if they had the updated SC2 units. It would also make SC2 updated units make a hell of lot more sense and give the UED a truly different feel than Koprulu Terrans. So I would give the UED the updated Marine and Firebat model and Sparta Company Goliths, replacing the Academy with Tech labs I could give or take. I would also give them Vikings and it would add to the Valkyrie since both are Nordic and logically come from Earth. I would change the pre-quel Terran mission units on Chau Sara for Cerberus company to use the new SC1 Firebat model and just have them use the SC2 stock Terran Goliath, The whole idea being that all the different changes to the units in SC2 is because of the UED influence. Story wise making the UED be Terran but have two news units (Viking and Valkyries instead of the just the one) and their SC2 looking units would again make them appear more unique (and perhaps slightly more advanced) and have greatly influenced the technology of the Koprulu Terrans. I suppose you could change their SCV's too look like the SC2 ones, but that not that important. Same goes for the Siege Tank model, I though about asking for UED tanks to all look the Siege Breaker one but it maybe better to create a new SC1 looking Siege tanks model to help differentiate them, but its not a biggy.

I know I am asking a big thing here but I am just fan who wants some slight changes to more visual differences, and I only ask because of the amazing work done so far.

In fact I looked forward to Legacy of the Void as much for all the new stuff you guys will get in Editor kit and add to Mass Recall, than the game itself.

Again thank for all your hard work and amazing mod, wow'ed by what come next already thinking about.

Keep in mind TK1999, that a lot of the custom unit models are unique to the Retro Edition of the mod, such as the marine and battlecruiser.

In the normal mod, they generally use existing Starcraft 2 models when the unit in question already has one dedicated to it. Besides, several UED maps involve non-UED terran factions as well, and replacing unit models for one player of a certain race, and having the same unit for a same race for a different player use a different model is quite a lot of work - not to mention forcing the map to load that many more models. It's pretty impractical, and really not terribly important. The UED didn't have as heavy an influence on current Terran tech as you appear to think it did - they basically brought better medics and Valkyries. That's about all they brought to the table that Terrans out in Koprulu didn't already have, and wasn't utterly obliterated by Kerrigan.

Just here to say thank you very much for making this Mod. After seeing the LotV trailer yesterday, I'm inspired to get back into StarCraft again like I used to be. I used to play ladder nearly every day and almost made it to Masters (got top of diamond my last try-hard season). First, I want to play though this mod, then WoL and HotS campaigns, just to be fresh on the story for LotV.

Thanks again. So excited.

Yes, it's a known bug that we will fix for the LotV edition. Type "there is no cow level" to finish this one.

Unlikely. The translators vanished, again, and at this point, there is no point in doing a French version before LotV comes out.
