Unfortunately upon loading in to check it this morning 5a and 5b are still the latest missions that are available so I think it's the same issue from Overmind (which did not reoccur this version). Just wanted to let you guys know. That problem also happens after Starcraft: Mass Recall P4.6 - Return to Char. So after the 1st occour, I always started the new mission & saved at the beginning....so I could load it. Also, not that big problem, but after finishing Omega and watched the cinematic, I went back to the SCMR menu and saw that you can't select the ending cinematic. It doesn't show up. | ||

The only issue is that the hydralisks are pink? Is anyone else getting pink hydralisks? | ||

I am using the retro version of the mod and I was just wondering why the probes are sc2 style rather than star1 style? I remember playing some mod were they looked like brood war probes (either sc2bw or starbow) and I was wondering why you guys didn't include that? | ||

I even like the new model for the Marines that looks like old school SC1 Marines and the style they wore in the SC1 cinematics. I also love the new Battlecrusier model, I wish I could transfer it to SC2, since the SC2 stock one looks so cartoonish. My only real complaint is about the UED, I think it would look cooler and add more to them if they had the updated SC2 units. It would also make SC2 updated units make a hell of lot more sense and give the UED a truly different feel than Koprulu Terrans. So I would give the UED the updated Marine and Firebat model and Sparta Company Goliths, replacing the Academy with Tech labs I could give or take. I would also give them Vikings and it would add to the Valkyrie since both are Nordic and logically come from Earth. I would change the pre-quel Terran mission units on Chau Sara for Cerberus company to use the new SC1 Firebat model and just have them use the SC2 stock Terran Goliath, The whole idea being that all the different changes to the units in SC2 is because of the UED influence. Story wise making the UED be Terran but have two news units (Viking and Valkyries instead of the just the one) and their SC2 looking units would again make them appear more unique (and perhaps slightly more advanced) and have greatly influenced the technology of the Koprulu Terrans. I suppose you could change their SCV's too look like the SC2 ones, but that not that important. Same goes for the Siege Tank model, I though about asking for UED tanks to all look the Siege Breaker one but it maybe better to create a new SC1 looking Siege tanks model to help differentiate them, but its not a biggy. I know I am asking a big thing here but I am just fan who wants some slight changes to more visual differences, and I only ask because of the amazing work done so far. In fact I looked forward to Legacy of the Void as much for all the new stuff you guys will get in Editor kit and add to Mass Recall, than the game itself. Again thank for all your hard work and amazing mod, wow'ed by what come next already thinking about. | ||

In the normal mod, they generally use existing Starcraft 2 models when the unit in question already has one dedicated to it. Besides, several UED maps involve non-UED terran factions as well, and replacing unit models for one player of a certain race, and having the same unit for a same race for a different player use a different model is quite a lot of work - not to mention forcing the map to load that many more models. It's pretty impractical, and really not terribly important. The UED didn't have as heavy an influence on current Terran tech as you appear to think it did - they basically brought better medics and Valkyries. That's about all they brought to the table that Terrans out in Koprulu didn't already have, and wasn't utterly obliterated by Kerrigan. | ||
