I'm trying to play SC2 Mass Recall again but every time I try to start it says 'The Launch of this game makes reference to mod or map dependencies which are no longer available." I double checked everything - I have the SCMR Cinematic in my Mods Folder, the SCMR Retro Mod in my Mods folder, and both Map Packs 1 and 2 in my Maps folder. I tried booting it through both Battle.net and the Editor but no luck. Is this a common problem/ has anyone had it and fixed it? Thanks for all the help.

I believe the marathon stream was to celebrate his 100th stream, I'm not sure he intended it to be all MR... obviously hearing from people enjoying the mod always feels good. Hopefully there are no major issues left with the mod and we'll get some relatively clean playthroughs. And no worries, I believe Crank's people mentioned during the stream that everything'll be on youtube. I can see it taking him a while to get all of it up there. And yeah, of course, the map unlock thing. It's definitely 5.3, the thing with the non-cinematic launcher is it does work, but only with the cinema mod even though it's not used. This is fixed in 5.4. This should be fixed in 5.4. The installer is just the file "scmrsetup.cmd.txt" ? When I try to open it it's just a text file. What is going wrong here? I need to help Jim save a colony... edit: I solved the program by downloading the file using internet explorer rather than firefox. I don't know why it worked but it did. I suppose it's because Firefox added the .txt extension automatically and IE did not.

Edit: I got the scmrsetup and it says my SCMR mod archive appears to be broken. I tried re-downloading it, no luck. It says it needs to be copied into the starcraft directory - I've copied it into the Mods Folder as per the instructions. Am i missing something? Thanks.

Btw. if you check this vid around 56:00, you can see that he clicks on the 'continue - hidden mission' yet the next mission is New Gettysburg Yeah, that was unfortunate. This was corrected in the 5.4 version. On April 15 2015 06:25 Xapti wrote: Was it considered —or is there plans— to do the Shareware/prologue missions? While easy (although that could be changed), I liked the final shareware mission although I don't remember the others. Blizzard also ended up making two bonus missions to go with that shareware mission series but was only available to the retail Starcraft. Why yes! Assuming you mean the Precursor/Loomings maps. They're included in the "extras" download, though they're not quite as polished as the main campaigns just yet. Um, when using the installer you should have all the downloaded .zip files and the installer in your Starcraft 2 root folder - see the "Auto install using the SCMR installer" section on the mapster project page. Also your Starcraft 2 needs to be up to date. If you can open a map in the editor, everything should be fine with your SC2 and the download, at least.

Did you use the SCMR installer or did you install it manually? Because Telenil & Jones thought that using the installer might solve the saving/loading problem since it's not using the editor at all [if I'm correct] On April 23 2015 02:50 Jones313 wrote: Hey! Does that mean it won't work with starter edition? [If the starter edition keeps updated, then I didn't ask this] I also had the problem btw. But since I've had no problem with the manual installation, I didn't really bother to check it more times.

After upgrading to the new version the cinematic add on doesn't seem to work for me. When the cinematics should appear I can hear the audio but can't see them (just show a blank screen) I'm on a Mac so don't think I can use the installer. Tried fully deleting all files and reinstalling but no joy. Any pointers would be great.

Map pack 1/2 is up.... but 2/2 is not. Where be the Brood War maps? ![]() Or will the 5.4.0 still work fine with the 5.4.1 stuff?

Quote from Jones "Note that with 5.4.1 only the mod files and map pack 1 have been updated. As this is a pretty minor update, 5.4.1 files are fully compatible with 5.4 ones and vice versa. If you already have 5.4 installed, there's no need to reinstall everything - you can simply replace your files with updated ones. These would be the mod and a few maps listed in the change log." So, they work together.

Obviously I can unlock all missions, but it's more fun to progress and unlock. edit: regarding everyone's problems above me, I'm having none. This mod works and is a work of art. All I can say is that an easier to find download link in the OP, and a slightly more clear webpage that the link takes you to, would make it easier for people who aren't as gung-ho about this as us ![]()

What are the odds that someone has done/will do this same thing with WC1/WC2 in the WC3 editor? I think that would be awesome as well.
