Currently dealing with an issue on The 10th mission in the first terran campaign, Hammer's Fall. For some reason, I am unable to send SCVs to gather minerals. I am not able to rally them from a command center, or manually click them onto a mineral patch. I even tried using the gather ability on the SCV, but that did not work either.
I am not sure if this is an issue that started post 3.0.0, or if it has happened before then. I have tried extracting the map pack a second time, to see if the map was possibly corrupted or missing data, but that did not work. Anyone know how to fix this issue?
I also posted this issue on the Mass Recall SC2mapster page.
Would also like to note, that this mod is fucking awesome and I have been enjoying hte hell out of it. Great work

Just tested it, and I also got the problem. Starting SCVs will gather stuff, cause of auto-mining thing, but every other SCV you train won't mine

Yup! Thats exactly whats happening for me. If you move the starting SCV's off mining, you can't put them back on either.

Well, i tested and i got to some conclusions. It only happens on the minerals of your first base, cheated god mode on and made it to another mineral patch and it was working normally. Also, unfortunately the same happens to repair. I can only repair by using auto repair and placing the damaged unit close to the SCVs.

Anyone having issues with patch 3.0? I'm getting an error saying that the game no longer supports the old saves (so I can't load the SCMR menu)
I'm not really great with modding and stuff like that, so any advice would be much appreciated, I have no idea what to do!
P.S this mod is amazing. Playing the original starcraft after so many years has been a blast, you guys have done an amazing job. Keep it up!

I have a weird bug. I reinstalled the mod after patch 3.0, and everything works ok EXCEPT carriers do not release interceptors! They just stand there taking damage. This occurs to both the AI and I.
|
On that mining bug - it's an issue with specific mineral patches. Cheating my way through the Rebel Yell campaign, (By the way, using the instant victory cheat while the opening cutscene is playing tries to play both the starting and ending cutscenes of the mission at the same time, with often hilariously buggy results. Probably not worth trying to alter, but it's funny to watch.) I noticed a few other spots that can't be mined, including some of the western resource cluster in the initial base of "The Big Push". The starting base of "The Hammer Falls", though, is by far the worst.
I also got some missing models, involving initially burrowed Hydralisks.

Another bug that I think existed prior to 3.0: In Brood War: Protoss 8, Countdown, (on Medium difficulty at least) the enemy never attacks the temple. It attacks everything else on the board first. This makes the level nice and easy, but perhaps too easy

I'm also having the mining bug on "THE HAMMER FALLS". Just my luck that 3.0 updates while I am on this mission.

I have lots of graphics glitches. carriers dont work. sunken colonies glow a strange purple.

It looks like the Medic's Flare doesn't do anything useful. It may eliminate Detection, but the unit seems to be able to see just fine.

I have the same issue here. Seems the patch 3.0 does not recognize the SCMR mod or any maps. "Unable to read the file" and "not supported anymore" errors keep getting annoying.
Anyone has a solution for this bug?

Are SCV's supposed to auto-repair? They're not doing so. Also, I thought that the Supply Depots used to be able to flatten. They can't anymore.

You have to reload it from scratch. Follow the instructions from http://www.sc2mapster.com/maps/starcraft-mass-recall/ . You shouldn't have to redownload anything, just reinstall.

Both of this was not in BW so I doubt these are bugs.

You can select the SCVs to do autorepair. Uncheck the 'enable simple command...something' in the options menu
The supply depots won't flatten, but that's intentional, I guess :p

I just reinstalled everything from scratch. When I try to test the opened the "Campaign Launcher" file in the editor, it says "Unable to execute '/Applications/Starcraft II/Support/SC2Switcher.app'" (I'm on MAC).
Should I reinstall SC2 completely? It seems weird that the problem is coming from my "Support" folder...

OK, it seems that, at least on Mac, the "Test Document" feature in the editor is broken; if you already have the game open and logged in, it does nothing, while if you don't, it throws the "Can't open SC2Switcher" error. Workarounds: - If you still have your old campaign menu save, open it. The game will prompt you to restart the map, at which point you can save anew.
...To fix this, I right-clicked on the Support folder-that's-not-a-folder, chose "Show Package Contents," then dragged SCMRsetup.SC2Map to SC2Switcher.app while holding down the Command and Option keys. That seemed to fix the problem.
Both worked for me.
