Indeed - they made some mild adjustments to the game, it's probably quite difficult to get all the little things. When I rescued Duke's fallen BC - I couldn't repair the BC like SC1 - I noticed a few little things but for the most part, pretty damn good.

In-universe, the healing technology was developped by the UED, but it was safe to assume that the Confederacy used field medics of some sort, even if they didn't have the capabilities of the UED. So, we disabled all researchable upgrades for non-UED medics and reduced their healing rate from 7hp/s to 3hp/s. UED players and IAs still have better medics with access to all abilities. This is consistent with the lore, and allows the player to make better use of his infantry units.

Thanks. Yeah I heard about this one, universal bug with Refineries apparently (possibly with Assimilators & Extractors as well). We'll look into it. The way I see it, we're creating content for their game, for free. I can think of a couple of reasons why they wouldn't publicly support the remake, that is, mention it at all. I think they're mostly indifferent to it anyway (which would be the biggest reason I guess). I mean, I'd hope they have more important things to worry about. Luckily DLC isn't Blizzard's thing (yet), but in case they'd want to cash in on a Starcraft & Brood War story remake DLC or whatever some day, it'd have to be pretty good I guess. ![]() On August 24 2012 19:04 Cabinet Sanchez wrote: Interesting, I reached a mission where I can research nitro packs for my reapers! Retcon? ![]() Just another unexplainable side effect of the patch. It's already fixed for the next update, slowly and surely making its way to the public. --- Medics. Well, Starcraft Wiki is with me, at least: During the Guild Wars, the Confederate experimented with adding Colonial Fleet medics to front-line infantry units. Marines suffered high casualties, but retained their strength through aggressive recruitment practices. By the Great War, Confederate medics remained at bases to care for wounded soldiers but were sometimes attached to squads/platoons. Confederate medics had a distinct appearance (white armor with a red cross). Raynor's Raiders medics operated on the front lines, at least on some occasions. I assure you, we take the lore very seriously. :p That aside - from a gameplay perspective, including Medics seemed like the right thing to do, basically for reasons Telenil explained above (you'll notice Lurkers are also available in episode 2). They were added in Brood War for a reason, and that's good enough for me.

You still have reaper nitro packs available in some of the later terran missions Kerrigan has consume available bound to C and cloak on C? Protoss mission 4, brought Jimmy and Tassadar to the beacon but it didn't end. - You need to walk them in to the beacon from the north (shrug) Some suggestions: In the theater briefing, I'd like to see at the start of the text it say the persons name, it's hard to tell the difference between Daggoth and Zasz for example so it should say "Zasz: Agreed" "Daggoth: Absoloutely" something like that EDIT: - The text would be fine doing a pop up the way it does in the 3'rd chapter - the solution done there in the breifing room is perfect. At the end of each mission where a movie would normally be put <in game movie zerg 2 "the hive"> or something like that - prompting people to know when to go hit up youtube ![]() I'd like the 3'rd person mission to really be optional ![]() EDIT: Thank you regardless though, I finished 2 of the campaigns here and for the most part it was pretty seamless. I'm also impressed Blizzard hasn't lost their beans over including the SC1 assets - the voices really, really made up a lot of this. It pretty much felt close enough to SC1 for me.

I was attempting to play the Iron Fist today, after having already played the other four episodes in earlier versions, and I had already deleted the files. So I went back and downloaded the campaign launcher, the mod file, and the maps for the Iron Fist, and found that they wouldn't play because the mod wasn't working. After a while of running around troubleshooting and redownloading everything, I decided to download the mod file for the zerg and protoss campaigns in sc1, which is different from the other ones for some reason. Anyway, it started, but in the first cutscene you can here DuGalle and Stukov's English voices, but it's drowned out by a voiceover in Russian. I downloaded the file again to make sure that I had gotten the English version, and I had. I'm totally baffled, does anyone know how to fix any of my problems with this? UPDATE: Out of desperation I downloaded the Russian version of the same mod file to see if they had accidentally switched it for some reason, but to no avail. It was the exact same as the English version. Help! D:

Officially the "New Gettysburg" mission happened planetside, and they even took it off of the space station and onto the ground with the new SC2 flashback cutscene. I was thinking it would be kinda cool to play that mission on Tarsonis, given there's too many space station missions in Episode I. I like space stations, but after a while it gets a bit repetitive. What do you guys think?

Eye of the Storm doesn't charge money for Terran buildings and units after a certain point in time. Nevermind, my mod was outdated.

What do you mean by that? Which language do you hear during the introduction, the first briefing, and when you clic on units? When I'm in the campaign launcher, all the words are in English, and while the first map is loading, the words are in English too. However, when the intro cutscene starts, with the battlecruisers floating in space, for a few seconds I can hear Stukov and DuGalle's English voices, but then someone speaking Russian cuts in, and drowns them out for the rest of the cutscene. When the text appears for the intro to the story, right before the first briefing (where it says press any key to continue) all of the text is in Russian. The briefing text and voices are also in Russian. Sorry I haven't been able to post for a couple days, school has kept me busy.

Eye of the Storm doesn't charge money for Terran buildings and units after a certain point in time. There is a known resource bug that separates resources for each faction when you control two of them (in Eye of the Storm, but also in Return to Char from The Stand). The Stand update will come in a matter of days, but there are some major issues with The Fall which we are going to address once Queen of Blades is complete.

Try downloading this. That worked perfectly! Thank you so much! :D :D :D I can't wait to start playing. This is my favorite episode in any of the sc1/brood war campaigns.

Rebel Yell and The Stand have been updated as well, we made some balance and cosmetic changes. Work on Queen of Blades is about 30% complete. Last, we are about to release a video trailer for the campaign, coming next week!
