Something I noticed is that your casting quality goes down considerably when "incredible" or "unusual" things happen, such as the reverse all kill in im vs tsl or the freak vs crank game. You tend to be too speechless and run out of things to say and repeat yourself, when you usually do a good job about avoiding repetitive casting.
Also, try not to talk over wolf during exciting parts of games. It feels like wolf sometimes is having to talk over you during the high points.
I started off ABSOLUTELY hating your casting when you started with gom, but now I'd say I moderately enjoy it. Good job on your improvement, we need more go getters like you!

Khaldor, first off I should say that I am deeply impressed with how hard you work and how much dedication and love you show the sport and the craft of casting.
Overall, I think your casting is B+ (if we consider Artosis to be the A on this absolute scale.) Where I think you should improve is on your criticism of players desicions. As in all things in life I am sure you attempt to weigh the merits of their desicion (albeit quickly), and then come up with fair-handed analysis. At the moment, I think your internal scale for this weighs too heavily against players, and often times it makes minor mistakes (minor in the absolute sense, but obviously they weigh heavier when every probe/mineral/etc counts in the GSL), you convey to the viewer that in the absolute sense this mistake is terrible, when in reality it is bad in the relative sense. When Artosis or Wolf or Day9 relate these sorts of mistakes they tend to recognize the humanity of such a mistake, e.g. why send your probe that way? why go for ling infestor when he had a robo and could be making colossus? whereas you tend to lambast them for such a mistake.
I hope that made sense, gl hf and keep it up you're great!

At first when I heard a German was casting in English I thought, "oh shit," not because I'm racist or anything, much of my family roots are actually traced back to German immigrants. But I am just absolutely retarded at hearing through thick accents, it took me a cast or two to get used to Apollo but now I love him. Much to my pleasant surprise your accent was not only easy to understand, while still distinctly German, but you also have an extremely pleasant voice to listen to and great insite. Combine that with a little humor and I think you're one of the best casters out there.
Great job, keep it up! Definitely one of my top 10.

Hey Khaldor,
this is one suggestion I have for you:
You often make sentences in this way: [the subject], [the pronoun] [verb]."
For example: "The broodlords, they're doing so much damage". "Hero, he's macroing so well"
It's fine if you use it occasionally, but it's definitely not how english should be used by default. There's no need to complicate the sentences so often (and you definitely use this pattern way too much), when you can just say: "The broodlords are doing so much damage." "Hero is macroing so well".

To be fair, Artosis (widely accepted to be the best of the best) constantly uses ridiculous grammatical constructions, especially stuff like "Hitting a perfect gateway timing, is Hero!"

Dear Khaldor, I absolutely love your casting. I love the way your analyzing skills are sharp as knife. Whenever you see a mistake youre not afraid to point it out, dont lose that! Also, wolf khaldor best duo except tastosis imho.

Dear Khaldor,
I think you are one of the better ENGLISH castor out there.
since you know korean, do spare some time to listen to mirror code A Korean stream, and compare to your own.
hope it will help you in future casting.

I think I criticized you before on this but I keep noticing it over and over.
You keep overusing the word(s) "(big) problem". I hear it at least 3-4 times every game. Am I the only one hearing this? -The big problem is player X has no answer for the broodlords. -He has a big problem since he doesn't have a 3rd base. -But player X has no tech, so he has a big problem.
and what I also notice (you are not the only one int his), you always talk about structures dying, in the case of Zerg this might be acceptable, but a command center or nexus just doesn't die...
Apart from this, I think you're doing pretty good! I think you overrun your co-caster from time to time. I know it's really hard to have the perfect synergy, so it's not a big issue. I shouldn't start comparing to Tastosis :p
Keep it up!
Edit: Watching GSL now: Symbol vs Squirtle game 1: saying (big) problem 4x

Hello Khaldor!
I've never commented on a caster before, usually I find something positive about a caster that enables me to zone out their quirks or bad habbits. I have never been a huge fan, and that is the reason why I wont be going into great depths explaining my validation of you as a caster. However, this post is concerned with a situation that happened on GSL last thursday, that, because of its nature, made me feel obligated to say something. The situation I am refering to is the one in wich Wolf was giving his description of low fat cheetos (or something like that). He made an argument concerning their usefulness ("you can touch your friend if you want to). I found your reaction to Wolfs said argument to be so blatantly homophobic it felt offensive."If you start touching me, there will be a fist coming away so fast you wont even be able to dodge it." Really? I know this is something many would reply with, but doing so live in front of thousands of people comes off very unproffesional and, for some, even offensive. No matter what your thoughts are on this subject, I would advise you to keep it to yourself or at least modify its form when you are on the air.

Khaldor, you're perhaps my favorite caster. But lines when you say something like: "Mkp is falling apart" when he trades 2 mutalisks for 2 scv:es annoys me a bit :D You need more experience man, and you'll be as good as Artosis in no time. Though I must say Tastosis team works quite a bit better in the casting process than current Khalfie combination. At least on gsl matches. Maybe it is nervousness? Maybe it is teamwork? Dunno, gl in fixing that man!

You have a great personality, and I truly do enjoy your casting! Not much here I can ask you to improve on.

To be honest, I almost enjoy this. xD The way the sentence is set up almost makes it more exciting!

the only thing I dislike about khaldors casting is the way he repeats himself such as; "he need more drones, he needs more drones," "he needs vikings, he need vikings," "the colosus is down, the colosus is down," ect. once I have noticed it I can not stop thinking about it (it's become distracting). other than this, I enjoy his casting.

Just some feedback, I don't care what builds you don't like. The players are using the builds they are because they have something planned and they don't have to play the exact build that you want every game. Just focus on the game please instead of spending most of the game ranting about their opening and ignoring what's actually going on. You tend to focus on hypothetical situations way too much. It would be alright in moderation but right now it's way too excessive and sometimes overruns the things actually happening in the game.

I love Khaldors casting. Seeing how far he has come is quite amazing. The amount of hate people get (got) when casting GSL is pretty savage, but Khaldor has come through the other side an amazing caster.
The only criticism I would have is that he tends to mix up his tenses a lot, and sometimes it gets on my nerves a bit. Things like "And he does not check for the Mutas" or something for a game which has finished instead of "And he didn't check for the Mutas". It's minor, but it's really the only thing that bothers me. Also, I'm not having a dig, I can't speak two languages, just trying to help.

Yeah I dont really think that's something he can improve on apus.
I just wanted to say I was impressed at the rate of change we've all seen from Khaldor, he has improved significantly and you can definitely see it. Props to the hard work man you deserve it.

Perfect english ? I dont care, I like ppl with character! Not some1 who is trying to please Buckingham palace lol
I get what he means just fine.
The most important thing to me is being honest and respecting your fellow caster - Khaldor is up there with Artosis and tasteless/ Husky ezpz.
As for analysis, all casters show their limitations it is normal, unless you had MC, MMA and Symbol grade analysis there will always be a few folks having a cry that pros arnt casting, that is to be expected.
Keep it up Khaldor , good job sir !

I really like Khaldor! His casting is informative and fun. Plus, he's a cool dude to boot. I will always look forward to his broadcasts.

There are supply numbers displayed in the top right of the screen. you said Moon supply ahead many times when Fnatic v MVP. fact is its even and Sniper got upgrade advantage.
|
Khaldor, your casting is fucking awesome! So is your face and your arms and your accent and smile. You are always casting something. You have so much passion. I can't even hold all my passions.
