The GOM show was probably just a fun thing to do after his retirement and he probably got some well needed money, since he was essentially out of a job at that point. I disagree with you this one as for what that Project A was for? Even though it is just a show, I think he wanted to participate in Code A that month and compete with other Code A pro-gamers at that time. Since he didn't qualify I think he just lost interest and thought it to himself that he will just focus on other things.

Hmm, I do wonder, if Yellow actually tried to practice for Code A like the Project A showed, or it was all sort of "made up" and it was mostly just a show. Anyone have any evidence that it was or wasn't legit/real?

I also recall BoxeR stating when needed, yellOw would move on to form some sort of rival team? (Sorry if this is actually beforehand and im just behind in news) Boxer was saying (or someone else about the situation) that it would be more fitting for yellow to be on a rival or different team, I do not remember Boxer himself saying that in an interview anywhere.

I think it might actually have been John the Translator posting that in the LR thread of a recent GSL day. I could go there and play in the qualifiers, and happen to be good enough to win the first round. He has several years of experience as a progamer, after all. He is godamn RICH lol xD Wow. I wonder how he would do if he came back when SC2 was coming out and trained in Korea (if he got supernova or whatever in 2 weeks, maybe he's just really really smart or something lol) now that esports has grown and [should] be more foreign-friendly (?) Anyways if people are making this much, it means that a lot of people are wasting a shit ton too, right? xD Or do sites such as these give out starting money, which they can make up with ads?

If you want to play in most of the poker tournaments you must pay an entry fee, that's where the most of the money come from.

Ok but what about the online ones? Also... damn I wonder if there are more people who watch starcraft than poker. If so, cheers for the future of eSports, where tournies like the GSL might give out $1 million per month/tourny xD (I know DotA 2 gave out $1 million for a BETA tourny though... but that's an outlier, I guess).
