It ended with her thinking one of my friends would be a pushover (he is low masters P) and she got crushed in a PvZ after he challenged her when she complained about his criticism. Not saying she's bad though - she didn't seem that awful really.

I'm not as cruel as others but you really think top pros are going to practice with a low master 'teammate'? Not sure if serious or ridiculous level of white knighting going on. the only way to look at this is that they want her for the female cups and presence of participating in the woman's leagues. As a PhD student she can't possibly have the time to practice to go pro and at her current skill level she offers nothing to the pros on her team. I'm not saying this to be mean, I'm midmasters zerg as well and I have no reason to be on a pro team unless there is a highly public league for 27 year old men with long hair that like death metal that work in higher education. I may be a real asset to a pro team if such a league became popular!

seems smart for our team to have a good girl in the team also since we couldn't find a GM girl (I don't know any in EU server) , we took one master division girl .. don't get why some bronze guys comentate :D it has nothing to do with sexism .. if you are a male you get a male competition is the same for boxing , football and other sports that have huge male competitions.. and some small ones for females where ppl can still look at some 2 chicks boxing eachother but you will not see a female boxer vs a male boxer .. the male will crush her.. and don't tell me that I chosed a wrong example because it has to do with men body having more strength etc. , cause it's the same for CHESS , where are also women competitions , and male ones so if there is a sc2 female tournament , Maddelisk can represent esahara while in some big tournament , the top squad will do it.. and being masters as girl , is a pretty good ranking imo , considering the scene..

She's not good, probably not incredibly talented either, so this is just weird. On the other hand, she is pretty. GL to her and the team I guess. And also, she calls herself MaddeLisk with a capital L yet the post by the team suggests it's a lower case l. bleh. well she is masters, so she is better than 98% of starcraft 2 players.

You couldn't tell her gender from her playstyle?! I kid :p. Anyway, I'm always happy to see the female sc2 scene grow. Good luck MadeLisk (and wooo, I study on the same place as her, does that make me cool?! :p).
