A similar situation happened with ESV's Korean Weekly, and ESV.Diamond even had the honesty to admit that he was looking into a tournament structure that would prevent this kind of conflict of interests from coming about. | ||

Aside from this, there are other things, like betting and such, that require there to be integrity in your games. This stuff isnt acceptable in any sport, and if SC2 wants to be taken seriously, it needs to be unacceptable in it as well. Defending these actions is being naive. Youre undermining all of those that had money and time invested in the game. On the surface, it may seem like "one stupid game that didnt matter anyway", but there are many factors at play, that make this kind of disrespectful behaviour (to the sport, to the opponent, to the sponsors, and to the viewers) unaceptable. | ||
