This map pool is the best it's been since SC2 was released but is that really saying much considering all the fucking terrible maps it used to have? Thats like saying the shit I took today was better then the shit I took yesterday. Either way, it's shit.
I don't get why blizzard just doesnt put in some of the GSL maps, what is holding them back from doing this?

I know for a fact that MMR decreases with inactivity, so either way, I think my MMR is not at a mid-high Diamond level anymore for sure.
Well, you haven't skipped the whole season yet! Play one (1) placement match! you could even worker rush and throw the game, but it'll cause your Season 3 MMR to be carried over into Season 4, which means it can carry over to Season 5; the loss of MMR from losing one game is trivial.

Is this when they use some of the maps from the TL map contest they were supposedly at least interested in getting into their map pool?

I think it's interesting how they're saying exactly what time the ladder will lock ^^ Are they always so exact?

This one is better but I still don't really care for XNC or even Metal at all. I mean I've been playing them for a year now. Don't eliminate vetoes- eliminate bad or old maps. All this season did for me was let me finally allocate my vetoes to enough maps that I didn't have to outright play bad/old ones.

I hope Blizzard uses one of the TL Map making contest maps. Watch it be Calm Before the Storm lol.

If they finally add some more GSL maps I'm fine with new season, plus I really like that season lock is only 1 week now. On the other hand if they don't it's just one pointless week combined with a pointless point reset.
Daybreak would be really, really awesome. Maybe even calm before the storm, bronze scrups can still veto it.

This season sucked for me =/ My PC was broken for a little over 4 weeks, so I didn't have time to play really.
Luckily I was still able to play my placement matches and get Masters in EU and NA, but man, I was shooting for top 8.
Oh well, at least season 5 is right around the corner!

Well, statistics are saying that Daybreak is not really balanced map, but i also really like it  same goes with bel shir winter.

2months ago everyone praised that this is the greatest map pool in the history of the game. Played a lot early season and for some reason stopped almost completely after making it to masters. Tbh the 2month season felt way too quick...

feels too short, ive been busy this season reaching only 30ish wins. (but my w/l record is pretty bad due to not playing much)

I don't see the point of ladder locks TBH. New seasons I can understand but the ladder locks are a tad annoying.

They're necessary to allow people to spend their bonus pools and provide meaningful end-of-season division rankings.
