You really come off like an ass with that statement. I'm a low league diamond since release with 981 league wins (~600 1v1) and ~850 custom 1v1 games. It's not from a lack of fucking trying to get Masters I promise you. I have a shit pc so I run at 4-6 fps in the late game but still I'm just not very good. I'm glad you are though. Us lower league guys play the game the same way you do just not as well. | ||

Also it's not about that you are good or not, in ladder it's mostly about defending cheeses. Also I have played BW for years, so it wasn't really new for me, I guess that helps a lot. | ||

I played my first ~100 or so games not even knowing the word "hot key" existed. I didn't have typing classes in school so even when I did learn about hotkeys I had to look down at my keyboard for a long time to find the right keys lol T.T; I think my pc is a problem too though. Its pretty impossible to micro late game at the 4-6 fps I play at and I really feel like unit control starts to matter in upper diamond/low masters where I'm playing at now. | ||

That's because they always get favored opponents, so they win +20 points (+40 with bonus pool) and lose 1/2. EDIT: Okay maybe not with 60 games, maybe I exaggerated a bit, it's maybe 200 games, but you get the idea. | ||

Not only they've improved, but you forget this - with every season more and more of the worse players stop playing - they get demotivated, disappointed, etc. etc. As for the smurf accounts, I don't know. | ||

There's a huge misconception in the lower leagues that rank = skill. I've seen posts like "I was rank 1 silver and now I got promoted into gold and I'm rank 50?!?! Wtf is that?" If people use up all their bonus pool, they should be at least top 25 in a competitive league. | ||
