ReIGN is pleased to announce that Woo "Inori" Min Gyu from FXOpen e-Sports has joined our team roster.
Both ReIGN and FXO have been in discussion since last month to negotiate the transfer of the Protoss player to ReIGN. This week the details of the trade were finally completed and Inori will now begin playing under the ReIGN banner.
Inori will be the second Korean player to travel to the USA and train in ReIGN's team house. He is slated to arrive sometime next year after proper arrangements are made for his travel and residency in the US.
ReIGN would like to thank FXO for granting us the opportunity to add another premier and hard working Korean player to our roster.
Please join us in welcoming Inori to Team ReIGN.

Sweet, grats to Reign and Inori! Sick lineup, <3 Artist!

That's pretty cool, Inori gave a great account for himself in his NA adventures but he's probably not consistently good enough to be one of the top players on FXO.
Great signing for Reign, he'll be an awesome practice partner and can hopefully turn in some nice results in the future too.
Nice to see a (seemingly) standard player transaction happening too after so much dramalama lately.

Congratulations Inori! It's great to see that although it is hard to make waves in Korea, there is still a chance for talented players abroad.
After the PvP beating of MC in IPL, I wondered how long it would be before Inori got picked up. I just hope he can improve his PvZ - he looked hopeless vs Stephano. Although I guess most Protoss players look hopeless vs Stephano ^_^
EDIT: Replaced Spanishiwa with Stephano. Honestly, I know my EU Zergs!

Any infos on the future team house ? 4 months is a short time to set up such a project but I would hope you could tell us a bit more about this. I doubt Inori would come to the US without the certainty to be lodged.
Edit for the guy above me : Spanishiwa =/= Stephano

Yay Inori!! It'll be great seeing him around Bay! :DD

The house is up and running, though there are still a few things missing. Spades and Artist are training there already, with other players due to arrive after MLG Providence. You'll start to see the house on stream this month, and a full tour of the house should be released sometime in December by IGN.

IGN showed us their latest design late last week. They didn't mention it in the schedule they gave us, but I'd imagine it will be launched this month with some of the other stuff they're working on.

awsome . hes a great protoss player who dosent 4 gate. !!! lovin it

I hope FXO is still committed to sc2; this isn't particularly based on anything, but it seems they've been fading a bit recently in terms of visibility. I suppose it's largely due to the majority of their players now being korean. Maybe I just haven't been paying attention though.

FXOBoss was the public face and he apparently is quite sick from what I read a little while ago and as a result FXOEsports is in a bit of a transition period. Last I heard, the BoD for FXOpen decided esports isn't worth investing all the money they had been investing previously. So they decided to cut back a little bit. Not stop but just a little less.
Also, since FXOBoss has been quiet we havent been getting all the updates we normally do. QXC is also finishing his last year of school so hes not on the scene as much as he was in the summer and when we see them televised its mainly the korean team.

That's just Perfect.

Sick pickup! Inori is a beast! Best of luck guys!

This is actually really awesome. I thought that he would've gotten a lot more attention since ipl, so this is kinda what i expected!

Good pickup with Inori, from limited data he seems like a quality player.
regarding the teamhouse, I'm wodnering if KiWiKaKi is going to move into it? Since I thought he may be slowing down with his Sc2 practice, but I hope I'm wrong!

This is awesome news! So glad to see another transfer of a good player without all the ridiculous drama that we've seen in the past. Inori had some pretty cool strats in all match ups in the last MLG!

Kiwikaki practices really hard. There is this perception that he only players poker and doesn't take SC2 seriously, but it's not true at all. Kiwi is a very hard worker and as you know, very creative.

Fantastic news. I loved watching him come out of nowhere at IPL3 and his games at MLG Orlando were nothing short of impressive. Hopefully he continues to be just as entertaining in the future.
On the topic of Inori, he got knocked out by Slush @MLG Orlando. Did anyone watch that series? If so, is it worth watching?

Looking forward to how he will do in the future.

Hes made a name for himself in recent times with impressive results and play.
Excellent move by Reign.

This is better for Inori to move into the foreigner scene, but I'm afraid it won't help him much. He's an amazing PvP player, but his PvZ and PvT are pretty bad... Unfortunately, I seriously don't see him making a big impact.

ReiGN your turning out to be an amazing team.

Slated to arrive in the US sometime next year? Sounds like a long boat trip.
Congrats to ReIGN, now they can win all their PvPs.

Congrats to ReIGN and Inori, he really surprised me at IPL- nice pickup!

question: why would FXO just transfer a player for no reason?

Cant wait to see what these guys can do once they all get in the team house. I am really excited for this. Team Reign is going to start making waves.

Nice pickup. He did solid at IPL3 and was a game away from qualifying for code A last season or the season before

Dear lord, RGN is turning into a powerhouse.

isnt this announcement like extremely late or something? I saw Inori wearing a ReIGN jersey at Orlando and I was like WTF? I guess this was announced on TL like 5 minutes ago...

Really nice addition! Inori has been playing and performing quite well in recent events (IPL 3 and MLG) I think he can do well in non-korean tournaments! Congrats!

Sick, i've always liked Inori from the start, looking forward to seeing him play under ReIGN. Good luck Inori!!

So is Fayth still associated with Reign? It's hard to support at team whos management lends accounts (OMGDTDROP) to known cheater (deezer) so he can harass Stephano on EU. Hope that gets sorted out. gl to inori.

Not exactly sure what this is about. Could you give us some details? Reign only has two managers, Frank Fields (Mirhi) and Dawn Moore (Oiran) and neither of us are particularly tolerant of things that cross the line. We talked with Spades over the incident a while back with him and HwangSin, for example. Neither of us knows about this incident you're referring to so if you can shed some light on it maybe we can clarify something or address it if it slipped past us.
And to answer your question, yes, Fayth is still a part of the team. He retired, but he still plays a little, talks with us in team chat, and recently hung out with us at MLG Orlando.

as for the deezer thingy, Deezer has been nice to me for a long time, I'm not gonna start hating on him just cuz he's being a huge attention whore and a troll, I told him cheating was lame and to maybe tone the trash talking down a little bit but I can't force him to do anything, he just asked me for a europe account like ~2 months ago, I hadn't logged on europe in forever so I was like well I don't care u can use it... what he does with it is none of my business and isn't in any way affiliated with Reign

But I don't understand how you can accept being responsible for him streamcheating people on your account, even mentioning your name a couple of times. The kid is a lost cause but at least don't encourage further abuse by giving him access to your account, this disappointed me a lot.

I know it has nothing to do with team reign, except you are on team reign and thus as a member of one of the better sc2 clans I had hoped you would be more against deezers behavior than you are. And I mean it quite literally; he said (in french) that it was your account, ie. he said in front of 6k people that it was you that made it possible for him to abuse stephano. Also from what I've gathered, he seems piss poor as he borrows accounts instead of paying for them, so no, I don't think he would be doing it had you not given him that account.

Unfortunately, you should assume responsibility of your account. He's using your account and makes it known to everyone whenever he stream cheats that it's your account and that you're best friends and support him. I don't care that you're best friends, it seems to me like you don't like his actions, but he's going around telling all viewers that you ARE supporting him in his actions.
Also your viewpoint of "I just gave him my account to use...his responsibility...nothing to do with me" attitude is fairly weak. Let's say Deezer was an axe murderer and you knew he was an axe murderer and you said it's lame and he should tone it down. He comes up to you one day and asks to borrow your axe that you chop wood with...even though you know he's an axe murderer. You give it to him anyway, he goes on a another rampage, you know about this rampage...and yet you say it had nothing to do with you? lol, you could have even recalled it after you found out all the things he's doing.
I'll summarize what he says about you when he's on someone's stream, "Fayth gave me this account...Fayth supports what I do...Also in case you don't know, this is Fayth's account."
This is the first I'm reading that you don't support what he does. If I were you, I'd either say I GAVE my account to him and now it's his and I don't support what he does...or just recall the account and prevent Deezer from doing his crap.

for all I care he can keep the account I mean I lent it to him cuz I didn't play with it anymore, seriously putting the blame on me is beyond retarded.... are you gonna hate his mother cuz she lets him play computer as well?
|
Well, if you're aren't lending it anymore and it's his to keep, yeah no blame to you then, obviously. Though he still routinely says you support him entirely...so if he's your friend like you say he is, maybe you should tell him to leave you out of it. Just a suggestion.
I'm 99% sure his mother doesn't know what he does on the computer. Not sure if you know, but one of Deezer's harassing buddies' contact info got leaked out (MMXMoto) and a bunch Destiny's viewers got a hold of it and contacted moto's parents. And his mom ripped the computer away from him the moment she found out he was threatening people and supporting hitler openly.
So yes, if his mom knew about this stuff, and she let it happen, I would say she'd be retarded. I think Deezer is still a minor, so it would be her fault. Obviously, she doesn't know and I doubt Deezer tells her.
Nonetheless, this is epic derailing. Inori is sick and Kiwikaki is epic, I think we're going to have epic sickness come Providence from Reign.

This is awesome, and it's great to see player trading done in a (right, IMO), non-hostile way.

It's hard to support at team whos management lends accounts (OMGDTDROP) to known cheater (deezer) so he can harass Stephano on EU. Hope that gets sorted out. gl to inori. I never was part of the management in Reign, I was a player and I retired anyway, I still support them and play every one in a while and obs more than anything.. nothing serious as for the deezer thingy, Deezer has been nice to me for a long time, I'm not gonna start hating on him just cuz he's being a huge attention whore and a troll, I told him cheating was lame and to maybe tone the trash talking down a little bit but I can't force him to do anything, he just asked me for a europe account like ~2 months ago, I hadn't logged on europe in forever so I was like well I don't care u can use it... what he does with it is none of my business and isn't in any way affiliated with Reign But I don't understand how you can accept being responsible for him streamcheating people on your account, even mentioning your name a couple of times. Let's be more reasonable. Fayth and Inori are very well respected and neither of them are known for cheating nor abusing (stream or anything else to abuse). Why can't we all agree on the fact that borrowing an account is in fact easier than acquiring the actual game over sea for a different server. Let's not make unreasonable stories what might happen when someone trustworthy loans an account to someone else trust worthy.
