Why don't they just realise having warp gates so early is bad game design. Make it a later tech and buff gateway units to compensate. | ||

This removes basically all 1 base aggression against terran, stargate would have absolutely 0 viability against terran, absolutely zero. Hallucination pushes against protoss, terran and zerg and all now useless, and 5gates against zerg are seriously nerfed. It also makes any sort of blink rush significantly worse, and hinders protoss late game harass capabilities. As also stated it stops making buildings on high ground (which a lot of people do on the 4th on Tal'Darim, the gold on Antiga and the 3rd on XNC. This better not go through or I, and a lot of other protoss players will not be happy campers. | ||

4G+VR weren't too common in PvT anyway. There are a lot more reliable and solid timings to beat a Terran FE (MC's Stalker Sentry for example). The expansion isn't risk free at all. | ||

I didn't say it became risk free after this nerf. But the poster clearly wishes it was risk free. | ||

The expansion isn't risk free at all. Actually 3g and 4g VR is very common in PvT. I do it all the time against marauder expands and wall off 1-1-1's, its going to be very bad after hots though. | ||
