I can't believe how bad Blizzard missed the ball with that burrowed creature. The whole point of lurkers would be to secure ground, deny move outs etc. Burrowed banes become useless when 1 scan hits, not for lurkers. This unit... Wtf..?

Blizzard doesn't have another 7 years to work on HotS though.

I highly doubt they spent 7 years on unit design.

Burrow...charge? for ultras? That will be interesting to see.Also viper disabling CASTING? That makes that ability so much stronger. Block psi storm, block forcefields, block STIM!

This is very true, remember the starbase? I.e. the starport that could fly around the map and heal terran ships? It's a very real possibiliy that things will change drastically before release.

As I said before though, it's really hard not to get mad at the sheer weirdness and stupidity of some of these changes.

I really have to wonder what is going on inside Blizzard.

What? It competes with Chrono Boost. Protoss aren't going to be too willing to give up their macro mechanic without a real plan. And that plan won't be "just recall a bunch". It'll be something more like "attack, then back away, but at the cost of 2-4 CBs".


Nexus only cost 400 minerals. That means you can simply build an extra nexus somewhere in your base and stock the energy up without having to stop making probes/spend gas like the mothership required.


Nexus is effectively 300 minerals because they supply you with 1 pylon worth


so ccs also cost 300 minerals?


Basically what i was getting at is that you ar epaying 300 for the nexus ability and 100 for the supply

by my logic, yes, you are paying 100 for suply depot and 300 for cc

also take into account build time though (longer)
