If they reinforce it switches off. stalkers, hydras, and anything further than that will outrange and take out shredders easy. swarm host supposedly can also take out shredders, unsure about viper roaches are also pretty decent at taking out shredders | ||

This would allow templar tech units to be in the game before they normally would be. | ||

Storm ignores armor, the shredder... I don't know, but since it is a factory unit it could have a standard attack susceptible to attack and armor upgrades. In that case, 20dps mean nothing... one "wave" of 20 damage once a second is very different to 4 waves of 5 damage every second. The former is good against roach/hydras, the latter melts lings/banes but does nothing to roaches. | ||

I looked like the former from the panel demonstration, all is changable though, they would make sick zoning tools though especially for siege lines | ||

David Kim said that the Warhound is good against every protoss unit except Chargelots The Battle Hellion is basicly Designed to kill Chargelots. How is Toss supposed to handle Warhound+Battle hellion Armies? and they said T has too much already. Why does T need two new units that are basicly designed to kill Protoss? | ||

I can think of 1 unit that is neither Bionic nor Mechanic, and that is Archon. oh yeah and air units, Warhounds are probably liftable too, | ||

It might be a response to the new units they added in for the other races. Still I agree the logic doesn't quite follow for it. I wouldn't get too bummed about it though; there's bound to be some stuff that gets changed before the game goes live. (Especially if they run a beta for HOTS multiplayer.) | ||

So i dont see how forcefields can be abused against them. Not to mention, if toss is forced to mass Sentries, there goes all the gas and they wont be able to afford any of their new units whose are all very gas heavy. | ||

They said that T is overwhelmed with options right now, and then Z got 2 units and lost one, P got 3 units and lost 2, and T got 3 units and lost 0. One thing about Terran is that when their unit works well, it works REALLY well, but it always has a huge gaping weakness. Siege tank for example can do nothing about 3 zerglings nearby, though it can make up 10x its cost in the right position. Hellions rule against light units, but roaches or stalkers completely nullify them. In WoL Thor and Marauder broke this tradition by being REALLY good against certain types of units, and still pretty damn good against everything else. It looks like Warhound is doing this too (though it might be too early to tell). | ||

I have nothing against Star Wars (big fan!) but come one, this is Starcraft, and Terran is a badass race with massive explosions and army-like units. When I saw the Warhound pew-pewing a missile against Siege Tanks, I had to give out a sarcastic laugh. PLZ CHANGE WARHOUND LOOKS!!!! btw idc about the balance atm since this is pre-beta phase. People should chill out a bit! | ||

I doubt you could call it trash if it's going to rape anything that's mech. It's still anti-Protoss. Ghosts aren't massive either lol Protoss can temporarily stop workers from mining off a few mineral patches... and Terran gets shredder drops? Don't really see how that's fair... | ||
