You cant be serious about that. The reaper change is kinda wayne and the Thor change is the most retarded thing in the whole addon. I was happy they removed the mothership, but then i heard they did the same thing to the thor and was like wtf? Other than that i like the new terran units(shredder ftw), their design is still quite lame though.

And as a zergplayer i really kinda feel for the protoss guys, because id be pretty pissed seeing these new units.

You people realize that without sentries protoss would lose every single game ever right? Also I love how people complain that there aren't enough "micro intensive" units in sc2 like there were in broodwar that really rewarded players for properly using them, and in the same post they want to take away one of the few we have, the sentry.

I do feel very sorry for zerg that their detection is going to be harder to get, and that their crappy corruptors get some lame new ability instead of a real buff.

LOL, im gonna invest all my gas into these things (they are aparantly really really fast, faster than speed warp prisms) and then loose to random shit because i have no AOE units, but fuck, its worth it


Its just a thought, also helps against greedy goldbases.

The problem is that protoss has soo much shiny fancy cool stuff already, the problem is that we have no means of protecting it. And here we are with 3 new shiny fancy units :/

Only thing I really love are the new nexus abilitys, those are great for protoss super-lategame.

no, u replicate a viper to stop broodlord/infestor shinanigans that tosses love to complain about so much. the viper cloud reduces all ranged atks to 1 and prevents the casting of any energy based skills. or u can use the replicated viper to pull the broodlords under ur stalkers for easy target firing...

No it's because of the protoss whiners who expected massive, across the board buffs to their incredibly, irreparably underpowered race.
Sorry guys but when there's people in the thread asking if the new toss units are 'a sick joke' then imo it's a bit pathetic.

I really don't think the problem with protoss is the gateway units. I think they're all very strong used correctly. Sue me, but it seems Blizzard agrees, protoss don't need a major buff to their T1 units.

Be happy with one thing - seems the long awaited ghost nerf is on the way.

As for people not liking the terran units, it's probably the other two races indignant that the already very well rounded T is getting even more stuff to play with x)

Try to be unbiased .... we don't want to make protoss weaker, we want them to be more interesting. Sentries and Colossi are the problems making Protoss boring and blizzard did nothing to address that in the Blizzcon panels, ontop of that the new units announced for Protoss are also boring.

No, no that is definitely not what protoss need. Phoenix, sentries, void rays, prism allins are all obnoxious and annoying as hell --- they needed solid units not more flimsy shit that can create wins after which your opponent wants to punch you in the face for being such an annoying bastard.

Also reaper change just made them pretty much useless vs zerg... No damage to buildings means reaper bunker rushes are 100% dead.

Gonna be annoying as shit vs terran tho, they run in, kill a marine, run out with red hit points, come back full --;

Terran concepts are sweet, but the units look stupid.

And all of Protosses units scream OP. Imagine Collo Tempest O_O. Zerg units are perfect, except for the pull ability, and the nerfed detection.

Well they acknowledge that 1/1/1 is OP and I expect that there are balance changes coming up that will affect the units involved. The new units don't have to be anti-1/1/1 for Blizzard to rebalance the build.

Ah so its a balance commentary(protoss underwhelming because they seen as weak atm, terran improvements hated because they are seen as OP right now). I wish people wouldn't vote like this when havn't even played the beta yet, vote on concept. I personally love the new units, the tempest + the oracle work together like a superpowered corsair. I also think the replicant will be incredibly powerful in the right hands. Imagine using a pdd against maruaders?

right. It's pretty clear that 1/1/1 won't be an issue at all just because the game wil be so drastically different.

but the oracle ability to see what is building seems like they're saying 'okay, lets fix the 1/1/1' -- it makes me wonder at how deep the design team's understanding of the game is.
