This is idiotic. 75 second build time is lightyears faster than the carrier, it flies faster than the carrier, and aoe makes it really good against Mutas/Vikings, and mass air in general. It basically seems like a giant corsair, which if anything could make it too good against mass muta.
From the video, the range on the AtA attack looks pretty low, like 4-5ish. Vikings have 9 range. Somehow, I doubt it's going to be good against them.

Shredder is like easy mode spider mines... should have caused damage to friendly units taht got too close.

Burrow moved banelings being tier 3 makes them a lot less scary. But, on the other hand, Zerg has never had trouble late game, at least they don't now. No need to buff hive-tech for Zerg.

Nonono, It's actually harder to use than spidermines. You can't use it offensively. If your units are anywhere near it, it won't even attack the enemy therefore it's useless.

wow, good find. I gotta admit, there is a pretty uncanny resemblance, and the fact the game is called "Tempest" pretty much erases all doubt.

If any zerg unit can be a detector it's going to be extremely difficult to keep observers alive.

Yes. That will then die, because MULEs have a counter on them. That's a good use of a unit that costs 200/200...

So, if I recap.
Zerg units and new upgrades look really good.
Replicant is clearly too expansive (150/150 would be viable maybe)
Mass recall has great potential.
Oracle is weird but maybe good. (trading gas for mineral harass???).
Terran units are meh and warhound looks ugly.
Doesn't sound like it was well thought out. Also this doesn't fix the ghost problem.

Its LOS.
Yes, seriously. If you can see it, you can replicate it, provided its not massive.
Now THAT could actually be useful. It still costs 200/200, but for specific cost effective combos, or nabbing units like spellcasters, it could be awesome. Protoss effectively have 200/200 Infestors now.
Also goddamn do I want the Oracle now. What a crazy potent combination of powers. Shutting down static defense is boss, especially because you can pair it with other Stargate units, which means getting a turret or spore or two will NOT protect you from Stargate play.
LOS? Does this mean I could fly a phoenix over his base and start replicating infestors/ghosts/medivacs from the saftey of my base or does the Replicant have to be on screen with it or something.
If you can replicate from ANYWHERE as long as you can see it, then yes it is worth 200/200.
If it needs to be on screen, then something like 125/125 is more fair imo.

Mineral lines will cease to exist when Zerg is in a game. Scanner sweep is ridiculously huge in SC2. The least they can do it they don't nerf it is to buff burrowed stuff. Scanner sweep? Please tell me you're joking. We're talking about a tier 1 unit that has the ability to instantly annihilate any mineral line, anywhere on the map, at any time. This isn't a pull and scatter your workers scenario like when hellions/DTs/mutas/etc. show up and save a decent chunk of them if you do it right. This is an instant loss of 20 workers with no warning and no ability to save a single one of them. It's a terrible idea. Isn't it also a hive tech ability? Yeah, its gonna be super powerful. But it's also going to be suuuuuper awesome.

Burrow movement banelings is insane. They're like moving spider mines. I think this is one of the first abilities that's going to get a serious nerf.

Thors were supposed to be good against mutas too
If Thors could fly, they really would be.

Troll, starts trolling, tell him he is wrong. Troll fucked. And thats why you are wrong: its at 1:40 How did he get LoS that far, up a hill? Observer? Also, do you have to call me a troll because of that? Sorry for not analysing it in slow motion for 5 minutes before responding to him, in case you didn't notice, the video is very fast paced.
Well, sorry for the "troll", but i am just getting sick of a certain posting patter in this thread:
1. Make random false statement 2. Follow it up with a racial bias
Also i dont think you need to watch that movie in slow motion several times. Its pretty obvious that the replicants are not at melee range. And yeah, there was probably an observer nearby. But so what, its not like protoss never uses observers to get vision on high ground. And you could do the exact same thing on low ground without an observer but with *insert random protoss unit* giving vision. So i think the replicant could be a very strong unit. Doesnt have to be though, depends on its cost etc.

I am laughing so hard right now. This unit is going to be so overpowered or ridiculously underpowered for its cost depending on what the final cost is.

I've tried to find the answer in this thread but couldn't: Does the new oracle detect cloak or not (or do we even know)?
