There are some that would be, I think replicating siege tanks with siege mode is worthwhile, casters would be as well (like infestors). If you can replicate air units, it might be really awesome for tech switches: you've been on robo for a while, and you know you're going to switch to air units, so you make a bunch of replicators while your stargate tech is building then you turn them into void rays instantly. If you are high on gas and don't want to make archons or sentries you can make them into immortals and save a little bit of minerals, and they build really fast. | ||

Viper will require an additional structure while the Overseer only required a Lair. Hm... edit: Unless the Viper structure is a tier 1 structure...? | ||
