Some changes are really cool. Some are just stupid, or silly. I could be wrong but...ugh. What has happened? What have they done to you my beloved!?

Stupid:
Ultra charge- wtf
warhound- what is wrong with the goliath!?
hellion ability- this is starcraft, not transformers. Stop. At least viking's morphing changed their ability
to attack.
Replicant- why not just give us MC back? O_o? Clearly the intention.
Thor- Let's get rid of the MS, because it wasn't well used, and give T a unit with the same concept.
Smart.
Ghost cloaking- I don't get it. why?

Everything else. Of note, recall is amazing, the Viper sounds like a really cool unit, Banelings burrowed movement, Hydra speed. Mostly Z changes.

I can not wait to play in the beta for this. It looks so awesome, but I disagree with thors requiring a fusion core. Cores are fore air tech, so seeing as how the thor is a fac unit, it's kinda a different tech path to get it.

Still, medis aren't really out of terran tech path.
I hate when people compare SC2 and rochambeu. One race isn't fucking supposed to counter another one. | Protoss isn't OP. Their units on the other hand....

i think they'll be a nice addition actually. They'll be a hard counter for that guy who picked Ultralisks or Tempests or Colossus as his unit, but be pretty weak against anything else, since it won't be cost effective.

Yeah, I really REALLY like it, even if it is weak. Protoss is very weak early on to aggression, and this will help them defend without having to sacrifice tech and units for a forge and cannons. It's not powerful enough to be useful on aggression and it's a chrono boost sacrifice, so it's not exactly free or spammable, but it could be really useful against things like early bio pressure etc.

Jesus, let's just throw out all the balance we've been working on and make a completely new game. A lot of these changes seem very drastic, but won't know what really happens until release. Dislike the new Thor thing, game might turn into a Hero based game

Really good article posted here that puts the new protoss units into better perspective. After reading, this... damn. And I thought Zerg got the most out of this expansion. Orcales and Replicants are such awesome units.

Imagine a player drops a large army into your base. Phase out the buildings with your oracles until you mass recall your army back to the nexus to deal with the drop. And with replicants, become a copy of an enemy SCV, escape with a warp prism, and a few minutes of building later, you have Protoss MULEs. So much strategic potential with these new units.

I disagree. The biggest thing is the size of the Thor, which returns to it's size during the Alpha / Beta

As a zerg player i really like the new units and abilities, but WTF is with removing the overseer.

Zerg just doesn't get to scout now? Not cool, not strategic.

probably you'll only be able to recall units that are out of combat so except vanished rogues/invisibility mages you'll have to wait 6 seconds for units to stop fighting or dots to fade
