What about the mothership? not viable IMO they should remove this from the game Pheonix is a harass unit (that ceases to function as a harass unit once they lay down static defenses that cost a fraction of what the pheonix' cost. Pheonix is not a spell caster Do you consider marines (stim) marauders (concuss/stim) to be spellcasters too? | ||

The phoenix is a harass unit, but still a spellcaster imo because he uses energy for a spell, just like the medivac. The banshee just cloaks but has no effect on other units. Marines and Marauders use health, not energy and the concussive shell is a upgrade like the U238 shells in SC1. But I don't think this discussion has much merit to be honest. | ||

I agree with you to the extent that yes, the pheonix does have a spell and if spellcaster/harass combo was an option in the poll, obviously that would be the only logical choice. The original argument was that I said the protoss air arsenal could use a spellcaster (referring to the silhouette), and that we are good for harass as voidray/pheonix have harass capabilities. Then people started to call me out saying we already have spellcasters with the pheonix/mothership Im just saying that a pheonix doesnt fill the roll of spellcaster the way I define it (spellcasters should have at leats 2-3 spells to be cast) | ||
