I think that it will be as fast as the helions but wont be able to shoot in car mode and when it transforms into battle form it will be just like the helion only more durable.

Browder said in an interview earlier in the year that they're un-nerfing the reaper in HotS.


I'm ok with this if they give zerg some kind og buff in the early game. Don't want to go back to 5 rax reaper vs zerg.

Given the fact that they triple nerfed the reaper (speed requiring factory, train time increased, no rax before depot), I doubt they'll change things to a point where it becomes a problem again. If they just revert the factory requirement change, we might actually see speed reapers again.


Just being selfish here but I'd like them to revert the medivac back to being an ordinary dropship simply because I like mech play alot more :p.
If we had the medic back that could help out that reaper significantly in the early stages of the game. And if anyone remembers back from way back in the early stages of starcraft 2 alpha, that was the reason the medic was removed in the first place. Regular medics were harder to use with reapers so they scrapped them and gave us medivacs so the bio healing unit could keep up with the reapers that at the time were common units. That or bring back their demolition charges.
None of these are likely to happen but I can dream can't I.

Sounds like Red Alert 3 with the Allied Cyro Copter and Peacemaker. Freeze (or shrink) the Apocalypse Tank with the Cyro Copter, then blow it up with the Peacemaker's shotgun after it inches its way up with its shield up.

If it actually is a freeze ray, then I would facepalm, as that is such a Red Alert-ish concept.

i wouldnt be surprised. some units have the same concepts as the CnC units

honesty if lurkers get put into multiplayer, then banglings will probably get kicked out and only be in singleplayer. The lurker and banglings have roles that seriously overlap, and if they both existed I think they would be the only units ever made, could be op.

This is of course assuming that lurkers will do the same damage they did in broodwar and have the same attack speed.

They don't seriously overlap. One is a suicide unit. the other is a unit that doesn't waste your money when it attacks something.

Dude I want banglings in this game ASAP. Bangling+Spermling sounds like a great combo.

My theory:

It's a medium sized Thor-like mech unit that can transform into a "mobile mode" where it moves fast but cannot attack. That way it can be like a Thor but not suffer from the mobility problems that make the Thor lolbad.
