Anyway really nice that we'll see him outside of korea cause he has never made it to Code A but that doesn't mean he's bad as the Code A qualifiers are one of the hardest ever.
Since he was kicked out from GOM, he has no place to really train, his team support him and allow him to stay in korea, but as he's not in a gaming house he has a terrific connect and nowhere to really train. He'll be back in cybercoffe really soon ^^. eSahara contacted few teams to try to have a sit in their houses, but no responses and GOM don't seems to care at all (but they help other foreigners, giving them a free spot to A code, finding them a house...)
If someone has a house in korea tell me, we need somewhere to make cArn play he really needs it ^^
That's really a shame :/ GOM should treat him better than that.
They want foreigners for Code A exposure, cArn is a foreigner with 0 accomplishments virtually unknown technically. They can't have him sit in the gom house taking up space so they can't invite more top level foreigners who want to try Code A. No offense to cArn but just saying. In the theory of how Gom works, cArn doesn't deserve a Code A spot nor a spot in the house for longer then he already was.
Good luck
cArn goes deeper into the code A qualifications than any other foreigners. Plus, other known foreigners are NOT staying at the gom house, they prefer to stay at teamhouses (Naniwa even said that he wouldnt want to return to the gom house at all). The gom house atm is a caster house for the most part.
They are still inviting players into Code A once in a while, I don't know where Sase is I am pretty sure he is there as well. Going far into Code A=/= accomplishment in the international scene if you think about it. Also last time I remember there being a large hubbub about cArn was that ppl were saying he got to top 4 in his bracket when in reality he got a ff win one round and lost round 2(Going to show that a lot of people may be misinformed)
I don't have any hate for cArn he seems like a good player but spare GOM any negative comments you have about them is my only concern
As he said, if he had opportunity to train non stop, top4 wouldn't be a very good result, as he defeated MarineKing few times on ladder. But withouth a non stop training, it'll be hard ^^

You misread me but yeah I am sure it will be interesting

I didn't saw your post, i was awsering to previous one :p But as Artosis said, GOM has nothing to lose by ginving cArn opportunity to train in their house, wich isn't full ^^
im sure cArn is trying hard and all but hasnt he been in korea for close to a year now and had nothing to show for it except a few wins in the qualifiers? i dont see how that makes it "ok" to stay in the gom house when you arent in code a or code s and have not qualified over 11 months...
best of luck to cArn but those who think GOM should give him more assistance or even a code a spot "just because" are absolutely delusional. every player needs to earn their way and some are just not good enough to break through but that doesnt mean they should be given sympathy and freebies...
Good for him, but when he was streaming his TvP was really really weak, he really needs to fix that if he wants to stand a chance. It sucks that his living conditions are not good for training, but you can't blame Gom for that. He went to Korea with no RTS experience, and no results and was not able to show that he was a top player since. I mean, he doesn't have any lan results (it's mostly a consequence of him being in korea,i don't blame him for that, and the CPL thing is really unfortunate ), no online result, and not being impressive on the ladder (if you compare to Sase for example..). He has not done anything that proves that he deserves a spot. He choosed the tough road though, and I respect him for that.It didn't work out as well as it could have, but I hope that in the end he will be able to achieve his goals, maybe ESWC is a step in that direction.

Wow, nice by cArn, hopefully he'll perform well there! I haven't seen his stream for a while, I just thought he like dropped off and moved back home, you can do it cArn!!!

Agreed. Gom isn't running a homeless shelter.
That isn't very nice...
But its true. Hes not even a Code B player from what i've seen of him on stream. There's many foreigners out there who are better than cArn and bring more hype for GOM and its sponsors so why should GOM sacrifice a bed in their team house just because hes a nice guy? It sucks that he hasn't made it yet and probably will never make due to his lack of success ever since entering korea it but that doesn't mean we should be sympathetic and give him free housing (and who knows how long hes planning to stay really...) or free code A spots for his remainder in korea when there are players out there having to place damn high in MLG or win a spot via code B just to obtain an elusive code A spot
Point is, the GOM house is meant for promising foreign players that have either proven themselves via tournament wins, ladder hype, some sort of team sponsorship deal which makes them a hot commodity or players who fly in for special events such as korea vs the world or any other foreigner based event GOM might host. cArn does not fit any of those requirements.
So at this point, cArn has overstayed his welcome at the GOM house from the looks of it. he hasnt made any breakthroughs in a year, hasn't qualified for code a, hasn't won any online tournaments (that im aware of), isint tearing up the korean GM ladder like SaSe is, doesn't have any notable wins in the last 2 months etc etc.
Im by no means trying to be rude, but some players simply are not good enough and fall off the map. This has become the case for cArn. I always want to see a foreigner do well and make it big, but it isint going to happen with this dude and GOM has realized that and revoked his welcome. He should really venture back to europe where he might have more success financially competing in a large amount of online tournaments and go back to korea once his skill matches that of the korean players if he is not able to find a team house willing to take him.

True, foreigners are showing such great results, like losiing 1st round of code A (wich is easier than code b). Indeed, nani deserves way more than carn by not winning a single map on GSL ? (against FD, who never defeated carn on ladder).

Uh i know you are a fan but how many months has carn spent in the gom house rent free? I think gom has already done enough for carn and he should be more than thankful for the opportunity. The gom house was never intended to be a permanent residence and if carn cant afford staying in korea its time to come home.
