![]() This is a person who has casted Strarcraft for years--and has now relocated his entire life across the ocean to Korea--purely based on his love of the game. It is plainly obvious when you listen to him that he is genuinely excited about starcraft. His casting style largely reflects the enthusiasm of the Korean casting style, and I think that is something that is lacking in many other casters. Gogo Moletrap!

I think it worked better with them because they were all good friends so diolog was always a lot more natural. Klazart was amazing. Never seen such a fluid speaking caster.

Wolf + Doa - go really well together because Wolf is amazing and they can joke around and it's actually funny. ( I almost like them as much as Tastosis :O ) Wolf + Moletrap - is alright, Moletrap doesn't shit all over Wolfs jokes like he does Doa's but there isnt much chemistry Doa + Moletrap - Oh my god, it's horrible. Every time Doa says a joke moletrap ignores him/ just doesn't get the joke and seems cross and every time Doa trys to say anything else Moletrap seems to just talk over him. I don't know if it's entirely moletraps fault, but I struggle to watch and enjoy it. I sort of wish they had regular pairs so they could better develop chemistry as a team. EDIT: Holy shit, It's my birthday in Korea already :D :D

Being as when Moletrap was gone... this was not a problem, I'd say they have some work to do. I think moletrap has potential. but he doesn't have the insight that Artosis or Tasteless (who has almost none at times it can seem) They do research but they don't see to talk interview the pro's try to get to know them sprinkle any tidbits in like artosis does.

Edit: I'm not sure 100% sure if it was Moletrap or not but I remember it not being tastetosis!

Edit: And to the people saying that "Oh but he loves the game!" nah, if he would love this game, he would understand it, not watch it with a silver league understanding of what's going on, this is GSL, best starcraft level out there, he just isnt fitting

Just because his opinion isn't in agreement with yours doesn't mean he has any less right to express his opinion. This, of course, is my opinion though. Maybe you disagree and think only some people's opinions should be expressed.

I think he has gotten a lot better recently. He has loosened up tremendously, laughs at his co-caster's jokes, and in general has a more "fun" tone, as opposed to earlier when he had a more "serious" tone. This jives with both Doa and Wolf much better. I now am quite happy with Moletrap as a Code A caster. I think only Husky has surpassed him in "most improved caster for a big tournament".

I've heard like 150+ moletrap casts, the overwhelming majority was at LEAST a duo. Your right though, Moletrap has no chemistry with his co casters, but honestly, I dont think they have chemistry with eachother either. Wolf talks over and [imo] condescends to doa constantly, just as Moletrap talks over him and just kind of ignores him. Wolf and moletrap talk over eachother and their comedy doesnt mesh. No one in code A works with anyone else. I guess they picked up these casters more on a basis of, are THEY good rather than who are they good with.I just recently went back and watched some old moletrap youtube bw casts, I used to watch him a long time ago regularly when I came home from school. After listening to them it made me remember I absolutely loved those casts, the problem I have with his sc2 casting is mainly the co-caster. There is no denying that moletrap/doa/wolf make some terrible jokes, fake laughs ensue sometimes and whatnot. Also sometimes his hype seems to be played up just for the sake of it (not necessarily true, I know he cares). In his BW casts he didn't have anyone to bounce jokes off of so that part is instantly cut out so there is none of that and also when he gets excited you can tell this is just some guy spending his free time that is genuinely excited, and I love it. I honestly think he would do better as a solo caster then with 2 people, I wasn't the biggest fan of moletraps sc2 casting but after going back and remembering all the videos I used to watch just because he put in the effort made my mindset completely change. Just randomly felt like typing that out, came to my head.
