Edit: The one trying to snipe players like mad? Please read my post a couple of posts up.
Basically 5 MVP players left, and this was announced nearly a month ago on the 24th of June--HwangSin, Galaxy, Lure, Avenge and Aya. So they were all teamless for nearly a month. And now HwangSin, Galaxy and Lure have found teams (all three different ones).
Perhaps x6 may have been inquiring and as you put it "sniping" players. But as far as this signing goes, this was a clean signing and gives no evidence to say that they've been sniping players.

I'm speculating, I admit it. But if I had to bet, I'd bet check six was the team referenced.
Btw, are you a big check six fan? You abbreviated it x6... kinda strange.

x6 is their tag though. I can remember it back in CS days I think..

Statement is coming soon boys, don't worry. Thanks for all the interest.

If multiple koreans keep going to foreigner events then it will be much harder for them to win foreign tournaments as well.

@_@
not to harp on Check Six, but do they have the money to afford a korean player?

Congrats to x6! One day, they'll have a super awesome amazing lineup (yay thisisjimmy!), this could be the start of something awesome :D.

Also, it should be noted that a lot of (about 5 or so) MVP players left quite a while back and Lure was one of them, so it isn't really a case of foreign teams taking Korean players, but these players leaving the teams and finding new foreign teams. Here it is. It was announced on S2con on the 24th of June, meaning they probably left a little earlier than that: http://s2con.com/xe/Notice/8284Players who left: Galaxy --> Now with Gosugamers Lure --> Now with x6 HwangSin --> Now with It's Gosu Avenge Aya
Why did these 5 leave MVP? Not good enough?

I'd say we already have a super awesome lineup But that's just me.

this is kind of cool but i don't really understand the point of most of these?
Not this thread's case, but like others. This one the player actually is joining CheckSix, right? but in the other threads there are players just representing more than one team, I'm guessing so the sponsors get more advertising in and the players get some more money? Is that right?

Great news. This is exciting! :D

Isn't Galaxy still with MVP a bit though? I thought LastShadow+Him were gonna practice a lot at the B-team house for MVP?

Considering most korean teams don't provide salaries, and this player is relatively unknown, I can't imagine it would be too much on an issue. Plus not really sure how you would know about their money situation? Not trying to be condescending, it just seems like a weird assumption to make

Nothing is really suprising about these moves any more. The Korean SC2 teams are mostly young organizations without a lot of experience on the business side of things. It is only natural that players are going to migrate towards those teams which can provide support. At this point that seems to be the established teams in the west, and perhaps in the future long running BW teams will open up SC2 divisions.
I'm for anything that gives the players a better chance to compete and live with some level of comfort.

Very interesting piece of news.

MVP still has a very stacked line up, with the likes of dream, violet, tails, nobelesse, keen, genius, guinea pig, DRG and some others.
