Because it feels like poaching in business terms, only that the poached person told his manager that he is being poached, whereas in real life he's supposed to just quit and kept his mouth quiet. But nevertheless, EG should have contacted their manager, before or after they talked to Puma. That's how business practices are done in Asia.

If they stole or pried away Puma while he was at NASL and Puma was under contract at the time, that's really, really disappointing. This will discourage teams from sending players to events in fear of international teams trying to steal players away. If TSL is lying or this isn't true, then I take it back, but this could really damage what has been a really good partnership between the international tournaments and Korean teams. I couldn't agree more with this post. It's a damn shame this wasn't handled professionally.

Surely you see the issue with that? You realize that in sports the teams talk to the player's agent right? The agent represents the player not the team or the coach. If TSL was properly contracted then this would have been prohibited but we have reason to believe that there is no contract to begin with.

In my opinion, Puma did the right thing. He abandoned a sinking ship. Artosis, Idra and Tyler have all stated that the kid was a heady player with e-stro. Maybe he couldnt make it through the cheese-fest that is the open tournament to get into codeA/codeS. Doesn't make the kid a bad player nor does it mean he owes TSL EVERYTHING for where he is. If he was a good player before odds were he was gonna be a good player now. Last time I checked, the player always has the option to do whats best for him. In any sport the agent looking out for his client generally tells the player of offers before telling the other teams... there are some situations where this is not the case like a baseball player being traded.... but for the most part its correct. If you wanna be mad about anything be mad that the sport hasnt evolved to the point where players need agents. The way things are set up now, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the way this came out for all parties considered. Be mad at the system. You want KeSPA back? Really?! GG to anyone making a business decision ever again in the KR scene then... Look people try to get ahead by underhanded means every day. EG didnt do anything underhanded. Underhanded would be like "hey Puma... wanna join EG? You make more money..." and Puma says "Hell yes" and then no one tells TSL. Thats underhanded... The fact is that he told TSL... the people that needed to know were told. You lost guys... tough shit... Maybe if you were in a better situation you'd have the money to keep these "practice players" that you pay almost nothing...

MC goes in the name of SK gaming now. SK sends them for international events, that's already the deal.

How do they have a history of being on their own? The reason koreans didn't come out for BW was because there were no major international tournaments for BW. In WC3 players like Moon joined foreign teams like MYM. Koreans don't have a history of being on their own, korea has a history of being the only place to actually compete in BW.
