The funny thing is that people ignore the points that are strong like the one I posted before, + Show Spoiler +This is going to make Koreans start generalizing foreigners and be scared of sending their players outside of korea. thus weakening the scene. and only respond to the stupid ones.

So apparently the ONLY people who deserve to be treated fairly in the esports business are the players? Let's just forget the hundreds/thousands of people that work tirelessly behind the scenes to help and support esports. Coach Lee gave his time to help the players of TSL become who they are. Yeah as if COACH LEE hasnt benefited from having such amazing players willing to play for his team? All things come to an end evnetually. Big deal. As a coach he should know you dont put all your eggs in one basket so he shouldnt expect that any of his players will be around forever. Thats what all coaches in all sports have to deal with. Get over it already. They play for his team to receive his training and expertise...Of course he doesn't expect players to be around forever but he should at least be contacted/approached prior to another team taking TSL's MVP.

gl hf on your new team puma

The players have no agents that can take side with their best interests, surely you see the issue with that?

How will Puma practice now? Unless EG is going to make a Korea house...

Is EG going to send Puma to MLGs and stuff?

EG did nothing wrong. They went to the player, who the ultimate decision belongs to, and sent him an offer. He thought about it, he talked to his coach about it, he accepted it.
Get off your high horse and stop all of the crying. You have no idea about business.
Please enlighten us on your business acumen then. Seems to me it's on par with how business operates. If another company offers me something better than what I have at my current job, why the hell would I stay?

EG lives up to their name. They are willing to make the moves to be the best. I love it. It might not be the best moral decision but this is one of the inevitable situations we will run into as the Korean and Western E-Sports start to compete. I think it is awesome that more and more Koreans are joining foreign teams. This is proof of the sport success and the games success world wide.
Also TSL has been losing/releasing quiet a few of their bigger names. There may be more going on behind the scene then we are aware of. I was surprised when FruitDealer left since he put the team on the map IMO.
Best of luck to Puma and I hope we continue to see more and more top level Koreans branch out into the "foreign" scene. I feel we will get to see more games from them then if they were just in GSL. Also if this trend keeps going the "foreign" tourneys will be of a caliber comparable to the GSL simply because their top players will be in our tourneys all the time too.

nice. Just goes to show that money trumps integrity and team spirit. I love how EG makes this offer only because he won the tournament and the fact that they would have no interest in him if he didn't win it. So its like they are just trying to buy his success for team EG.
What a sick world we live in.

Agreed. The player can do whatever he wants regardless of what his coach thinks. If the coach feels betrayed, that's his fault NOT the players. I'm sure Puma can make good decisions for himself. If he wasn't under the right conditions with TSL, I'm happy for him to move to EG.

Get off your high horse and stop all of the crying. This. I love how so many TL-ers think that their opinion actually matters.
It obviously does when the whole fucking purpose of sponsoring a team or a player is to make you buy their shit.
So yeah, my opinion obviously fucking matters cuz if they keep doing shit like this, I'll make sure me, my friends and my family don't ever buy shit from companies that are sponsoring this team.
Geez, a marketing effort that don't care about people's opinion? Which world do u live in?

You don't talk with the coaches/management either, that's what agents are for.

thats not a strong point though
if korean teams want their brand to be known on an international scale they'll keep sending players to tournaments just because a korean joined a foreign team doesnt mean suddenly the borders are being shut and the koreans are forced to stay in korea

Thats it "It is not a strong point. It is a stupid one." He doesnt have any counter argument or anything, he just says "It is not a strong point. It is a stupid one."

you can argue ethics all day, but honestly until we get how puma was gotten and how involved TSL was then we can show better opinions about how the situation was handled.

Was PuMa not contracted to TSL? If he's not, than I don't see what the problem is.
