If you're going to be well known, best get ready to deal with this sort of stuff. While it's certainly rude and uncalled for, it is a burden that must be shouldered by anyone with some sort of notoriety.

My sympathies to Slayers_Jessica, but you gotta learn to roll with the punches.

Can we not get into this culture battle? Every ethnicity is unique and honestly, if the Koreans do this that way, then it really is up to them. But everyone should be held accountable for their words or actions.

Then I ask kindly for those posters not look like everything should be done in their way or their way is any better than the ways other people do things

Obviously people are going to speak from their cultural perspective, I think it's kind of silly as well because she's in the lime-light and dealing with standard trolls, there's no big controversy or scandal unless Jessica turns it into one.

You suggesting that what they're doing is right is just the same as someone suggesting it's wrong based on their cultural perspective.

lol you're kidding me right? Chinese are some of the most racist people I've ever met. I've worked in a Chinese restaurant for 6 years. I've never seen a culture hate on others more in my entire life. For you to even speak of "culture"

I think Jessica is correct in her thoughts, based on what everyone saying what the Korea culture is like. I mean, there's a huge difference in comparing her to Justin Bieber: JB has fans for his singing. Whereas here, Eve doesn't have fans for what she plays, she has fans for the fact she's cute. I mean, if you look at Tablo, it seems like everyone except for a few were against him. In my opinion, it would be fair to compare this to someone in the US that everyone hates (for his profession, terrorism doesn't count). The guy would commit suicide, there's no one that's even trying to uplift him. Everyone just keeps putting him down.

For example, let's say everyone tells you, "you're useless." What other way are you gonna think, unless someone tells you, "thanks for your help, we needed it!" or something positive like that. Pride exists in every human being unless you don't mind being trash. Seriously, everyone listens to public opinion. It's just you can ignore it if people support you/ it only stays on the internet. It seems in Korea, it goes beyond the internet into real life. Jessica is correct in her thoughts, is what I'm saying.

This is even bigger than the teamliquid strategy forum purge, They are actually purging trolls in real life!

Edit: I feel kind of bad for SlayerS_Jessica having to deal with this kind of stuff.

I think it's okay for you to let this drop, Ranshaked, for a number of reasons.
1) just because The Blastmeister is in China doesn't mean he's Chinese
2) just because some people in a chinese restaurant were hateful doesn't mean that everyone is
3) drawing this sort of generalization is mean, unfair, and beside the point.

It's important to have respect for all people's culture, while at the same time understanding that even within a culture there can be a broad vareity of personalities and outlooks. Heck, look at American culture across the various states, or even between social groups (like "hipsters" or "punks" or "old people") and you'll find a remarkably diverse set of cultures and personalities.

I would not be surprised to find this the case everywhere.

Amusing. So he lists himself as in China, therefore his word and opinion are worthless. Because Chinese people are some of the most racist people that you ever met.

Dear god, you know what? I've met tons of racist people from all different races. Everyone's opinion must mean shit.

Or maybe generalization is bad. Yeah, I think that's it.

I have been involved in a number of Chinese restaurant business for 17 years now.

This guy is either lying or he simply spend his whole 6 years in the same place and think everyone in the world must be the same. If fact, if you work as a waiter(I assume you are) for 6 long years, you will know that most of the time, the waiter is the subject to racist taunts.

1. the owner of slayers is kim gayeon.
2. she has no power in the criminal procedure anyways. all she can do is provide evidence and that she would be able to do even if she wasnt part of slayers

To be honest, while this whole thing makes SlayerS_Jessica look a bit silly, what with the whole tolerance to trolling we have nowadays and such, I would be oh so delighted to live in a world where excessive flaming ends up in fine tickets or something.

The acceptance to utterly atrocious behaviour 'just because its online' we have nowadays is really stupid, and personally I think it's slowly making its way into real life as well, which is even more disgusting.

I for one, never saw anything wrong with the criticism except for the obvious "She isnt good enough/ we dont know enough" that was bound to come. I cant fully understand the twitter thing but it does not seem that harsh (to me). As for the photoshops that was really unnecessary.

Think the point she is trying to make is they are not just trolling, they are going above and beyond. And the problem is more widespread in Korea than we see in the USA. But it has happened and there is no easy way to make it stop before the person kills themselves. Only thing being done is some laws being put in motion to make penalties for bullying/cyberbully a lot harsher. The reason people act like this is because the cloak anonymity of the internet.

I would guess that boxer cannot really order her around, nor does he want to, because she is about 10 years his senior. also, she is kinda like a power woman. watch boxer's wings...from there you can see that Gayeon noona takes care of Boxer in nearly everyway (shopping for clothes, cooking for him, getting him sponsors, getting him a practice house, setting up his team, etc.). Thus, she has shown Boxer much success in SC2 and he trusts her. I do to.

but you can be sure that boxer probably told her not to worry so much, also the kids probably told her too. No one wants gayeon to go through all this crap, but it is her nature to be fiercely protective and controlling of the people she cares about.

just imo.

I knew Gayeon noona was older than BoxeR but didn't know she was that much older. But yeah faith in SlayerSJessica, She's been the SlayerS powerhouse for a long time, so I believe in her
