Sure there has been some criticism but almost all off it was constructive because she doesn't seem to be that good. If Slayers responds like this on the few troll posts that were there I really feel sorry for them T_T How are you so sure that most of them were constructive?

Living by common sense is nice and all, but it lacks clearly defined parameters. That's where laws come in. There bounds to be some loopholes here and there, of course, but at least it's something... EDIT: I also believe BoxeR needs to talk to Jessica about this, if he hasn't already. Only the vilest of the insults should be taken to the law. No reason to impede fair criticism. The Emperor will definatly know if it got out of hand and intervene when he thinks so. If he didn't stop her, he must be convinced that she is right... ... and you wouldn't doubt the Emperor, would you?

I support Jessica to an extent. Some of the stuff she does i dont support. But if it has harmed to the point of distress, the cops are the way to go. Haters gonna hate sure. But remember, not everyone is an anonymous person in the community, and when things get personal no matter how thick your skin is, it hurts. Although, I think a court ordered public apology is all thats necessary as a punishment.. Nothing drastic please.

Do you think freedom of speech is measurable? Can we say whatever we want no matter the conditions? Can we quantify personal rights? Maybe we should just go back to the ancient age without laws and rules. EDIT: Put in the spoiler tag. ![]() If you honestly think I am asking for an "ancient age without laws and rules", this discussion isn't worth having. That is a childish jump in logic meant to insult me, and shows a lot about your character. "Which is why I put the 'different nurture = different mentality' at the end. Not everyone is a clone of each other." Exactly my point. People deal with things differently, and outright banning people from speaking their mind infringes on their human rights. "Do you think freedom of speech is measurable?" Freedom is speech is measurable. You can say what you want or can't. "Can we say whatever we want no matter the conditions? Can we quantify personal rights?" Yes, we can (to the first). And yes, we can (to the second). You have them or you do not. Stopping people from saying what they want infringes on this. Another example, since you ignored the first post and a second hypothetical (seriously -- reread the first post, where I give the example): Person A insults Person X. A says X is ugly. X kills themselves. Person B insults Person Y. B throws out every racist, hateful, sexist, insulting thing they can think of, and Person Y shrugs it off and moves on. You're calling for punishment of person A, and not person B. Do you honestly not see the flaws with this kind of thinking? So, now we have person A arrested, and B goes free. The next week, the situation happens again, but in reserve. Person C insults Person Z. C throws out every racist, hateful, sexist, insulting thing they can think of, and Person Z kills themselves. How can you legislate that? The exact same scenario occurred twice, with different results. Punishing one and not the other? ... That is freedom of speech. The person REACTING is responsible for their OWN ACTIONS. You can't punish one person and let another go because of the end result. You're advocating for restriction of expressing ideas, the most primal and personal thing we have. That is ours. You have freedom to say what you want or don't. If you're just going to throw out another childish insult, save it. I won't bother responding unless you honestly attempt to understand what I am saying.

I don't know... that photoshopped hardcore porn pic would imho deserve a day of cleaning toilets with a toothbrush... For other posts, yes, a public apology would be fine, but some of the stuff is going a little too far.

I'm not going to have any opinion on this as I'm not even nearly related to that. And that is what some people here should do, too.

Seriously, this whole issue is becoming increasingly irritating and she's only escalating it further. Signing that girl was a stupid publicity stunt that didn't benefit the team at all (and likely never will), and the backlash is only going to get worse now. I just don't understand, why what how did that idea even come up in the first place, it makes no sense. Why do that? -_-

But it is the stalking of a 16 y.o. who said that her English was bad (which it is, incidentally) that I think is completely over the top. Her behavior in this case is in fact worse that the behavior of those who are merely expressing the opinions that she doesn't like, even if it is in a rude fashion.
