Even though MMA was in a slump, that was a very harsh and imo, cruel thing to say to MMA. Yes he won, but still. im almost 100% this was more of a joke with Korean pride... and probably what she meant was hey im paying for you to go their don't make us look bad.....

However, when abused like this case, many of the fans might turn their back on you. So I think one must cleverly decide when to ignore those insulting comments and when to take it to the police. 2. Is Jessica over reacting? ( Actively searching twitter and forums for any evidence ) In my opnion, she is. I really like SlayerS team and SlayerS_Jessica. But as of now, I am greatly disappointed. I like what she is doing, but she doesn’t have to go down as low as those trolls (like 16 years old girl case, what she wrote reminds me of those ‘keyboard warriors’ themselves.) 1) Your understanding of the internets is highly disturbing. It's a technology for communication. It's a tools for us. Why should things done just with this tool not be a matter for the police? It's like asking if matters with scissors or matters with toilet paper are a wise things to take to the police. It's about the matter and not the tool. If there is something illegal done, it's always a wise thing to go to the police. Not just in Korea. Besides, it also seems you don't understand the technical part of the internets, as you're mentioning the myth of anonymity behind doors. That's just so wrong. Every step you make is registered by your IP which is linked to your phone account. Often times it's even registered by image maps what you are (possibly) looking on right now on your screen. Using the internets is pretty much the opposite of anonymity. You are always in the spotlight 2) If her reaction is appropriate or not depends on the actual cases. In detail. With exact translation and complete log. As we are not provided with that information it's pretty much impossible to rate if she's over reacting or not.

the things you say are held responsible by the poster and its is punished regulary by "cyper crime police dept." there is a part of the police (actually quite large) the deals specifically of these kind of matter and people that have harrased other people over the internet can serve jail time as well. I used to live in korea for first 19 years of my life before i moved to states, and i can tell you that "internet trolling" is harshly punished in korea. you have to understand that "internet community" have been widespead in korea years before other countries have, and thus they had more time to setup these kind of system to punish internet harassment

Very simple cases of cyber bullying through facebook are taken to the police frequently. Other things regarding public defamation and written-abuse are as well..Open your eyes people. In a culture where the internet is insanely popular do you not think things written over the internet would be of great importance?

I guess if you live on the internet (LOL) then its not overreacting and she should call the Internet police to guard her facebook, twitter and shit. I mean, obviously, internet trolls in the US and Europe er used to being able to say pretty much anything without it having any consequence. And it's pretty much accepted. Not so there. So whether or not she is overreacting is imho based on how far from what people normally act this is.

I'm sure you have a breaking point, and I'm equally sure there's a large amount of people that would LMAO at your breaking point and your suicide just like you're doing to those that have killed themselves due to cyber bullying.
