Funny, because you really haven't understood what I have said. I wrote 'who thinks they can hide behind doors of anonymity'. I am certain it implies that its those trolls who think anonymity exists in the internet. Not me. I know I can be traced down.

Internet is different from everyday conversation. It is a place where people will say things that they will never say because they believe in anonymity. While anonymity has its downsides, it does grant true freedom of speech.

Thats why it matters.

P.S. Please take some time and read one's comment throughly before you suggest A person has 'disturbing' understanding of something. You could have worded it nicer

I kinda agree, but as I see all the messages she posts on twitter, I'm pretty sure she's losing a LOT of time with all this. I'm sure all this crap is affecting the slayers house, I'm also sure she has a lot less time to do her job now when she sends 10+ "I answer random internet crap" twitters a day (because she has to find the crap to answer to before).
All slayers' players are in a giant slump for since the ST final, and I'm not sure she's helping.

Seems like a huge over reaction, but if its within her rights in the law why not?, Id like to see how they prove that it was that specific person on that specific account (or dont they have those fancy like id's that are tied to them when they do anything online?)
As for the photo someone shopped (badly) im pretty sure that constitutes fair use, im a firm believer that if theres a photo of you on the internet, its fair game for anything.

but yeah as i said, if its within her rights in the law why not, mad troll people back into shitting themselves (or anyone thats said a bad comment against her) you could be arrested!

Does she believe she is immune to criticism? People who are always in public positions are more prone to criticism and harassment, that is just the nature of things. With social media like twitter and facebook everyone now believes their opinion on these subjects should be heard.

I believe Jessica is in the wrong here. Going after ever naysayer and troll is a complete waste of time she could otherwise be using to improve the team. If she strongly believes her decision to bring Eve on the team was the right one then she should let the results speak for themselves later. She shouldn't have to defend her decision to every random Internet troll. That said, it wasn't the smartest idea to invite an amateur gold level player and say she was invited because of her looks.

With the information given I find her behavior disturbing. Attacking people over expressing their freedom to form an opinion is harassment. To me, she comes off as someone who thinks of herself as being better than others.

I think she's overreacting a little bit, but for the people actually making really aggressive, rude, and completely uncalled for attacks, I do hope she goes after them. People who are just trying to humiliate, slander, and harass people on the internet should be held accountable for their actions.

Perspectives, people. You would think that defamation wouldn't be taken seriously, but it's actually considered a crime against personal rights. Living by common sense is nice and all, but it lacks clearly defined parameters. That's where laws come in. There bounds to be some loopholes here and there, of course, but at least it's something...

EDIT: I also believe BoxeR needs to talk to Jessica about this, if he hasn't already. Only the vilest of the insults should be taken to the law. No reason to impede fair criticism.

Lol congratulations to team Slayers and Jessica.
This is the most stupid thing I've read this week.
Sure there has been some criticism but almost all off it was constructive because she doesn't seem to be that good.
If Slayers responds like this on the few troll posts that were there I really feel sorry for them T_T
