Obviously team modes skew things about MMR wise, but it's still a bit weird at the moment. I got my account back off my friend, who had me placed bronze 1v1 and I got up to silver in relatively few games, then the patch hit and I've been stuck there ever since. Even tested it by getting a masters friend to win a ton of games on the trot and no change. Then I screwed around to try and even it out by tanking games and bringing my MMR back down a bit, mass collosus drops and ridiculous things, and still no change. Really badly worded, but might well be my first post. Great community here from a long time lurker! | ||

I don't really know wtf the problem is, whether it's an intentional lock or some screwup as a result of other tweaks to the MMS. My initial thoughts were that it was to prevent people like that drop-hacker (sorry the name escapes me) flooding the higher leagues until they got a permanent fix, but that wouldn't really make sense proportionally. Anybody else got any theories on this? | ||

Anybody else got any theories on this? That's not how it works though. There is always "more room" for players. Leagues don't have quotas or anything. If your MMR falls within the range of a league, you get placed in that league. It's only league changes that are affected, not initial placement. But, players have to get placed after 5 games and go somewhere, or they'd be in the same situation as GM players who have fallen inactive who are literally in no league at all and not ranked anywhere. Even when the leagues were locked at the end of Season 1, players could still be placed in any league according to their MMR, they just couldn't change leagues. | ||

What do they think? You get to troll them for free and fun. Gold payer had some wins, got some Plat players and then the next match was vs Silver but Silver had 300 points on me and were as good or better than me. So even more info that league dose not matter. | ||
