- Instant Search - press SPACE once things load up, get a search dialog. Start typing in anything, you get to pick from live streams, channels, and even full YouTube / Twitch.tv search. - Video-on-Demand - Warp Prism now has full YouTube support. Husky, HD, Psy, along with many others are listed under the Starcraft Video-on-Demand channel. - HTML/JS - Warp Prism is now in native HTML that should speed up the interface greatly. - Preloaded Fast Bookmarks - Press SHIFT + 1, SHIFT + 2, SHIFT + 3 to bookmark certain streams for viewing. Pressing 1,2,3 will instantly switch to that stream. Press "G" to see a small picture of them.
Small New Features
- Minimalistic Design - In this iteration, I tried to make the interface elements as compact / sleek as possible. - List-based Navigation - You can access all streams listed on Warp Prism using the two pulldown tabs next to the logo. - Drag and Drop Picture-in-Picture - You can drag and drop casters from the taskbar onto the Picture-in-Picture screens. - Compact Notifications - Help screen menus and messages will no longer appear covering up everything. They will appear in the corner. - Copy-Pastable Links - As you browse through the site, you'll be able to copy and paste links to your friends and have them see the same thing you are seeing. (i.e. http://teevox.com/#/sc/puretalentgamingpt)
On the Name Change
As I discovered how much I loved Warp Prism, it made me realize how devastated I would be finding out if something were to take it away. I wanted to make sure that looking into the future, Warp Prism would be protected and have it feel safe to grow.
I decided to change Warp Prism’s name after three considerations: - Possible legal issue with branding / trademark with Blizzard. - Difficulty spelling for people who are not familiar with SC2. (Spelt “Warp Prison”, “Warpism”, ”Warprism”) - Future direction of Warp Prism.
Warp Prism provided a warm nest for the project to grow and flourish. It is with a heartfelt thanks to the name that has graced the project to date.
Looking Towards the Future
The full list of new features as well as a longer explanation for the name change are listed here: http://blog.teevox.com
I love you guys. It is because of your love and support that Warp Prism grew up to what it is today. I hope to continue on for a long time discovering the next great experience to enjoy together.
This project originates from my frustration with coming home in the evening and realizing that Day9 / TSL / NASL / Sheth is going on all at once. I would sometimes open up multiple tabs to keep track of everything which would usually end up with having to deal with ten separate streams of audio blaring at once.
My favorite way to unwind is with a cold one and a nice meal sitting back and passively watching / eating. It was way too much mouse movement involved. All I wanted was a way to control what I'm watching with one hand and do it as smoothly as possible.
That was about 4-5 weeks ago. Since then, I've been spending my free time putting this together for myself and as someone who watches Starcraft for the majority of his entertainment, I wanted to give back to the community.
Watching RRB and Idra's cat at the same time. This is what PiP was made for.
New updates
- Added Picture-in-Picture viewing. View two streams at once! The switch between main and PiP screen should be instantaneous. This should come in handy come MLG and multistream viewing. NOTE: The PiP is draggable! Drag it to a location on screen of your preference. - Added support for additional games. You'll notice a very familiar sight across the top bar when you enter into the site. Let me know which new games you would want to see added. - Allowed Tutorial to be disabled. Just press "H". Popping out chat will automatically close the chat panel to allow for maximum screensize. - Prevented unnecessary clicks on the main video opening up a new popup. - Fixed about a dozen miscellaneous bugs ranging from graphical display bugs to key mappings not triggering properly.
Comments Your support has been phenomenal for me. It's what keeps me going to continually improve and bring you the best possible stream watching experience. Whenever you find a bug / see something that can be better, please let me know, through PM, email, in this thread, or live chat. That's what lets me know what to work on in the future.
- Fast chat switching. "C" for enable / disable chat. Chat updates as you go between stream to stream, letting you drop into multiple conversations really quickly. Use this power for good! Not evil. If you're feeling generous, drop by SC2 casters with few viewers and chat with them. - Redesign of the site layout. The site now adapts to your screensize, no matter if it is 600px wide or 3200 px. The player will resize to fit eliminating any scrollbars. - Fullscreen keyboard controls. Use your arrow keys for changing streams / volume. - Updated quality controls. "Q" for cycling through different quality settings. - Printed keybind guide linked at top of page. - Fixed phantom volume changing issue - Fixed player losing focus / keyboard not working - Fixed wrong attribution to caster - Added ability to disable on screen tutorial. Press "H".
Things on the horizon
- Aggregate list of all streams organized on the side so you don't have to use A and D to cycle. - Fast bookmarking / hotkeys / customization of streams you see on the bottom. - Split screen / Multi-monitor support / parallel stream viewing. - Integrated live chat with other users - Features for up and coming casters. (If you are in this category, PM me!)
Warp Prism 1.0
A few quick things
- Streams are automatically compiled and updated every 5 minutes. No refresh necessary. If you're quick, you can actually see the streams in the taskbar rearrange. - If you have your own stream and would like to get on the site, have "Starcraft / Protoss / Terran / Zerg" in your stream title or description. Warp Prism will automatically pick it up, checking every half hour. Or you can just directly PM me your JTV id. - Full keyboard control: WASD for moving between streams + volume, F for fullscreen. One-handed viewing mates, that's where it's at. - Quick transition between streams. Uses recent screencaps for fast naviation. - A very familiar looking interface.
A few things on the horizon
- Addition of fast chat access with JTV. - Fast Bookmarking (You guys are going to love this one. Pretty excited myself) - Multi-monitor support / parallel stream viewing - Features for up and coming casters. (If you are in this category, PM me!)
On the site, there's also a section for live chat with me. I'm usually up coding. Shoot me a message!
You can reach me at jakefrink05 - at - gmail.com
Final notes If you come across any features you might want / any bugs to fix, please post it here. I will be working to get any major bugs fixed in the first update coming within a few days.
All of this is only possible because of the fantastic community surrounding Starcraft and eSports and I wanted to do my part in moving it forward. When I realized 90% of the digital entertainment was SC2, it made me truly realize we are on the cusp of something big.
Wow this looks really cool and is quite user friendly :D
I messaged you on the thingy which was a cool function too regarding maybe another UI feature to sift through current tournament / events that are going on!
Doesn't this pull away advertising and viewers from TL and the players own justin.tv? ;/ maybe not justin.tv but this is directly in competiton with TL as theyll just log on your site instead of going to streams here.
Would be nice if you worked with BlizzTV and merged the two projects (if thats even possible). There are often times when I'm not sure what to watch and would like to flick.
Hmm...it looks beautiful and cool but it's just another page to have up and I believe it's easier and more convenient to stick to using TL. Will not be using this at all, good stuff though.
Well I've spammed you with enough idea's. Love it in it's current state so can only get better from here on out :D Hopefully it becomes popular, the response so far seems to indicate that it will ^_^
Would like to see the streams as organised as here on TL, I don't know all the names and their races. Here on TL I can just pick any random zerg player. Very good though.

Very good point. I'll be working on differentiating between caster / tournament and by race.
But here is one little problem , I'm the developer of ScCalendar , a pretty similar desktop application and same as your website , it uses lots of in-game UI art. A few months ago a friend warned me about it , said it's very very bad idea for websites but desktop applications shouldn't be an issue but of course I couldn't have risk it so with all my good intentions ; I mailed some people at Blizzard. As you can guess first response mail was pretty vague ,so I mailed back for clarification and this gentleman said he'll investigate it further with Legal Team and mail me back. I haven't heard from them after that and intentionally or not , they don't even respond my mails after that either. After that I started ScC2 , a %100 Blizz-art free new version but since this issue killed the joy & fun ; it's coming along pretty damn slow.
Anyway , tldr ; be careful with Blizzard art , I heard there have been some cases it ended very bad.
I hope everything goes fine , keep up the good work man
I would be very very angry ( as graphic designer ) if someone use my work that way. You just copied someones design, remember that graphics are under copyright.
One request, could you have a tab or something to set the default quality of the stream? I don't have the greatest internet connection (4mbps-3.5mpbs), so it takes a few seconds to buffer between streams on high quality
Just wanted to let you know, There is a bug with the Help dialog overlay. If you press it multiple times, it fires the loop for every time you had pressed it instead of just refreshing the initial loop.

So? TL doesn't get compensation from streaming sites, at least not as far as I'm aware.

Great idea. Quality selection will be out in a day or two.

The site definitely isn't meant to compete with TL. As far as I'm concerned, TL is the ultimate SC2 community. This was a small tool to help me watch more players with minimal hassle.

The majority of our support comes from advertising on the site, this includes advertisements on the stream pages. So yes, watching off of TL does pull away viewers and advertising revenue.

I apologize R1CH, I didn't mean to offend TL. I had created this with something like BlizzTV in mind, as a mini tool to help simultaneous viewing.

Perhaps there's a way to link the two? I'd hate to see something as community building as this be shut down over that.
It would be cool if Thrasher could somehow link Warp Prism to TL (don't know if this is possible). It's a shame that a guy with such great intentions and who made a great site actually ends up taking away from TL's revenue somehow - the situation isn't fair to anyone. I hope there's still a way to kind of reconcile things so everybody wins.

This wasn't really directed at you, I was just trying to clear any confusion regarding Pokebunny's comment since TL is primarily supported by the advertising around the site and we do get a fair amount of traffic to our stream pages. While the stream sites don't pay us directly, we still benefit from having people watch streams on TL. For stream-surfing your site definitely has its advantages though.
I've been toying with various ideas for our stream list / pages for a while now since they are somewhat basic, but I think a lot of people like the simplicity also.
Before I make my suggestion, I gotta say, this website is AWESOME. Seriously. Gonna be using this all the time now because it's so convenient.
I don't know if anyone else has suggested this yet, but there needs to be a way to adjust the quality settings of the streams (like the regular Justin.tv player has) because it seems to default to "Best" and my crappy school connection can't handle it... :-(

Thanks for the reassurance R1CH. I thought I was in deep trouble. The last thing I would want to do is hurt one of the foremost communities in eSports.
All the time and dedication he put into the site and making improvements really shows. A very well done site with a lot of thought in it. Hope this will be around for a long time!!
seriously awesome, and with all the stuff in the works it has the potential to be everything blizzard should have put into this game to make it a stable esports platform. Dual monitor users rejoice.
This is actually the best thing ever! Maybe needs to be a lil less laggy, but it isn't too big a deal (atm . Thanks for doing this, people like you are great for the community.
Besides being amazingly functional and not requiring an installation, this is just an amazingly beautiful UI and totally fits with the theme of StarCraft. Awesome that it sorts by total viewers as well so the more popular streams float to the top, but that you can still find anyone else in the list of other streams. Cheers to you, this is great!
Only big negative point imo is the lack of overview. With so many streams it feels like i could press "D" for quite a while only to see random names scroll by forever.
Being able to press W (menu opens up with stream list similar to TL only in several colums) and then navigating with WASD (select with Return/Enter).
Looks like it could get to be pretty smooth & good with more features over time. I'd love links to the major sc2 sites on the top [TL / WP / Reddit (reddit already there but could have a dropdown menu on community tab instead)] & maybe even tournament info tab with links to brackets and stuff.
Lots of cool stuff can be added, eventually making it a possible place to put as a homepage & be able to find anything sc2 related easily. :D
Was just wondering if Picture-In-Picture is a possibility? I know I want to have multiple streams open, but focus on one, while somewhat following another. The ability to PiP and then swap out without having to reload the stream would be huge.
This is awesome. Just a suggestion, can we somehow add a stream to a favourite, and maybe have one of the buttoms top left open a list of your favourite streams all in a list.

I felt so dirty being on a page with no horse logo. Now I know why.
this is AMAZING job probs to you man!!!keep the good work up!
i am using this on my 15'' laptop(res 1280x800) so here is this one small thing i noted: allow the minimize for the 'chat with founder' bar, it covers up the minimap of the stream.

Very good point! I am currently in the process of implementing an aggregate view for a list of all live user streams.
The keybind arrangement you suggested sounds really slick. I'll run some experiments on how that works.

Suggestion - Adding a star system if there are showmatches or competitions going on.
Great idea. I am thinking of adding differentiation for the different types of streams on the bottom, whether through different colors or symbols.
Love it bunches. Keep it going and you could have something pretty successful here, I think. It's definitely worth the effort.
I agree with the minimized "Chat with Founder", it's just very slightly obtrusive sometimes. Overall a great project, and it works seamlessly as far as I can tell.

It is definitely a possibility and something I personally want. While running more than one monitor, I would love to be able to easy view multiple streams and switch between them. I will be working on this after I hammer out the issues with the current single stream player.
Outstanding execution of a simple idea. Bookmarked and it will probably see a lot of use from me.
After the praise is out of the way, here my feature ideas/requests: -favourites list + "pick a random stream" button -multiple streams on 1 screen and the option to play audio from X, while watching Z play "big" -customizable hotkeys
This is an amazing concept and you executed it fantastically! There's always changes and improvements that could be made but even as it is right now, it's a great site/tool to have! The biggest change I could think of would be some way of making a favorites list, or limiting which channels show up on the bottom somehow.
Also, I think this should be spotlighted too. This is an awesome example of why the Starcraft community is the best in the world

Currently in the works is a way for users to hand pick their favorite casters and be able to switch between extremely rapidly. Appreciate the suggestion!
Amazing work, I haven't read the thread but I'm curious if this works for all streams on TL? Like if I'm streaming will my friends be able to view on here?
only think i can think of is making it so it doesnt scroll right or left at all. I know i could zoom out but if i do the banner at the top becomes slightly pixilated.
Idk just my two cents, usually that little left-right scrolling makes me not enjoy a webpage as much
This.. is awesome!! Also for those that want to change the player size you can use ctrl+scroll out to make it smaller. Although it does make the interface smaller which is a little bit weird but it's fine.
You should make this a stand-alone program and sell it, I'd certainly pay especially if it eventually becomes customizable to the point where I could watch my favorite streams of other games with it as well.
Wow this is awesome, thank you so much! I'll have to remember to use this from now on.
One thing I really like is that the streams load much much faster which is a major plus when I am on campus using my universities not so great internet

Go Beavers! What browser / operating system are you using? The player requires to have focus for keyboard input. Try clicking on the player frame on the right then pressing buttons.
This is pretty awesome. My only problem is that my channel is not just starcraft, and if I put starcraft in the title, that usually signifies that is a only-starcraft stream. Meh, I can use it to watch other streams if I want, but I doubt my stream will ever be up there.
Will you be updating so streams with "Starcraft" in the description would also work?

Not a problem Corvette! I misspoke on the original post. Yes, having Starcraft in the description would also have the site pick it up. Better yet, PM me your JTV id. I'll make sure to get it added to the stream list.
On May 05 2011 02:51 CursedFeanor wrote: it would be great if the volume control hotkeys worked in fullscreen mode as well..
I would love that too. Unfortunately flash restricts any keyboard input save for the ESC button during fullscreen. Something to do with Adobe being worried about hackers making fullscreen Flash movies that look like a user's desktop and tricking dumb people into giving up their information.
I'll be looking into putting discreet mouse based volume controls during fullscreen.
Does this tool have built in ad-blocker? Because, honestly, I'm unsure if you should do that. Publishing a tool for mass-consumption of streams that actively avoids ads is just not working to the greater goals of ESPORTS. Let individual people run the adblockers according to their own conscience.

Hi Takkara,
That would hurt Justin.tv and our casters to an extreme degree. Justin.tv provides an invaluable service for eSports in providing a dead easy way for casters to stream at incredible qualities. Our casters are the soul of the movement providing thousands of free hours of entertainment for fans world wide. It doesn't seem right to cheat those who have done so much for eSports out of their revenue stream / livelihood.
Warp Prism is currently, and always will be fully supportive of the revenue ad stream provided by Justin.tv.
When you first load up the player, it usually randomly picks between a video ad or a Google text ad. Do note though if you hide the Google text ad, it becomes nearly invisible. Whenever a player types in "/commercial", ads are displayed in full.
Please be understanding when you notice switching channels when an ad is playing is disabled. This is to ensure Justin.tv nor Warp Prism gets in trouble for ads counted but not shown in full.
If for whatever reason you do not see an ad played that you believe should have played, please PM me immediately. It will be regarded as a bug of the highest priority to be resolved immediately.
I appreciate your concern and applaud your support for ads. It is through this source of money that JTV continues being a boon for the movement and our casters to continue supporting themselves to provide their exceptional casting.
I love this website -- before I would be watching NASL with very frequent lag/pauses. Watching through warpprism however most of the freezing is gone. Amazing!

Oh odd then, because I have no ad blocker enabled on my computer but through WarpPrism I have not seen a single ad either when the caster /commercial's or when first loading a stream. I'll attempt to message you while using the service next. Thanks for the comments though. I just wanted to make sure that it was actually a bug.

Ahh, if you were watching NASL, NASL doesn't show ads. If you go to the regular JTV site, you'll notice there are no ads there either. I believe they are running with the model of charging for the pro streams while keeping the 480p and lower free.
Well, if TL benefits indirectly from watching streams on TL.net, and warpprism.com improves the quality of streams, hire that guy R1CH :D. As you said, you were thinking about improving the TL streams as its pretty basic, im sure thraser can help you with the layout aswell as the quality ^^.

I have contacted R1CH about how Warp Prism could be used to benefit TL. My first and foremost goal is to provide the best SC2 viewing experience for the most number of fans.
Nice website, it looks really sleek and well designed. Although it only uses featured streams, what if there are 10+ streams online? The tabs would be quite small then
Awesome! Only thing I can recommend is maybe having different keys than A and D to browse through the streams, without actually changing which stream is active.

You can use the D key to scroll through all available streams. Warp Prism currently lists all JTV streams likely to be broadcasting Starcraft. Let me know if you need a channel added.

That's a great idea. I am currently in the process of implementing a single page aggregate view of all live streams. You will be able to browse the list while watching the current stream.

You sure? I get ads all the time while watching NASL, not that I mind, I'm happy to support NASL.
On May 05 2011 09:07 Takkara wrote: Does this tool have built in ad-blocker? Because, honestly, I'm unsure if you should do that. Publishing a tool for mass-consumption of streams that actively avoids ads is just not working to the greater goals of ESPORTS. Let individual people run the adblockers according to their own conscience.

Ahh, it's the first ad when you enter into the stream that JTV has disabled. The in between game "/commercial" ad should play as intended both on JTV and Warp Prism.
My only issue is that i cant select the quality i want as with the jtv player, my internet can't always handle 1080p so i have to knock it down to 720p sometimes
This thing is freaking awesome. I dunno if this is possible tough but it would so cool if there was a "chat button" that you could click and it opens the chat of the current stream in a popout window.
This is really well done, especially with however you're doing the preloading for switching channels, but aren't you a bit worried that directly lifting the interface elements from SC2 is going to land you in hot water with Blizzard?
Have you obtained permission to use those assets or are you hoping that they'll just let you use them in goodwill because it benefits their product?
If i could suggest 1 thing though. I would really like some way to see a larger number of people who are streaming instead of having to scroll through all the different streamers at the bottom, maybe like a grid view, or something like that.
Maybe you already can and i'm just being dense, but thats me.

Will you be updating so streams with "Starcraft" in the description would also work?
Not a problem Corvette! I misspoke on the original post. Yes, having Starcraft in the description would also have the site pick it up. Better yet, PM me your JTV id. I'll make sure to get it added to the stream list.
Errr, I am one of the few left who use Livestream. Would that be a problem?

At the moment, Warp Prism supports only JTV streams, but I am currently working on integrating streams from other hosts as well. Hehe also feel free to give JTV a try! From what I hear, casters have been enjoying themselves on JTV's platform.
Idea: Shift-1 hotkeys current stream to '1'. Press '1' at any time to return to this stream. Same for 2 thru 0, just like SC2 control groups. Save hotkeys in a cookie so they will be defined the next time the user comes back to warpprism.com
Hey thrasher, I'm the one who chatted to you about the inaccessible "Popout" link. Just wanted to reiterate how awesome your site is. It has pretty much been the place to go for me to watch some streams.
I wanted to point out some issues with the new version that introduced pip. I think most are fairly minor but are strange, such as,
Sound control visual does not update immediately when switching between main and pip. If you mute the main while the pip is full volume then switching will show the volume bar to still be showing that it's muted despite sound being on. It'll only update if you change the sound setting, then it'll skip to the proper place.
Stream channel selection does not update. The bottom bar updates, but the actual selection doesn't. If you look at the image below the stream is clearly Tyler's stream, but I had just switched the pip stream to qxc's stream. The bar updates, but the selection doesn't so if I were to press left then the stream would switch to TLO's (and not Mr. Bitter's) because that's to the left of qxc's.
The next two issues are probably still minor but are annoying,
Sometimes the sound for an ad in the pip can play over on the main stream. It happens with the damn Olive Garden ad and it happens if the main is playing an ad (with sound) and then you switch it with the pip. The sound will continue playing for the ad even though it's in the pip. I've also had this happen even when I "disabled" the pip and the Olive Garden ad plays (because that ad ignores the sound settings). I was in full screen mode hearing that ad and found out it was because the pip, that I "disabled", was playing that ad.
I'm not sure how this one happens but sometimes one of the streams (pip and/or main) just shrinks to a smaller size. I think this is related to ads that you have the option of closing. If I can get this to happen again I'll take a screenshot. I can't seem to resolve this one without refreshing the entire page. Even if I turn to a different stream, the video size is never corrected.
I don't know if these are common issues, but all of them have happened to me. Thanks again for creating this awesome website!

Hi Garbanzo! Appreciate the very detailed response.
Just hotfixed the volume change bug. Let me know if it happens again.
Very interesting bug. I am diagnosing it right now and am aiming to get it fixed asap.
I've gotten several reports about the Olive Garden ad of doom. I am looking into a way to get around the protection to programmatically change the ad's volume.
I put in a hotfix for the video size issue. Let me know if you see it again!
I should be thanking you! It is through your feedback I can continue to improve the player. Cheers!
How does the op not have an edited thing since the date says today and all the following comments are from the past? Feel like a mod did this cuz that makes no sense (even though I'm really tired XD ). Either way if things turn out true than nobody will use this stream tool anymore and hopefully the threads and links can be removed/edited.

because it's just speculation?
No I'm saying the op of this thread doesn't have an edited stamp at the bottom yet it says it was made today but all the reply's up to a few back are from the passed like a month or two ago. I'm saying that's strange since he's not a mod he can't do that and not have a time stamp since this thread would have been created tonight but responded to a couple months ago. Back to the future type of stuff going on in here is all I'm saying lol.

I'd still want to see a response before I'd be willing to take another look at the software. The allegations seemed pretty legit, based on the evidence sited in the thread discussing them, and I'd find them pretty damning if they were true. Publishing software of community interest for a profit is perfectly fine, but lying about it to give your organization geek cred would be really low.
Edit: And a response has been provided. I'm satisfied that this is all just a minor thing that's been blown out of proportion. Still don't particularly care for the fact that the program strips ads from streams, but that's not really the issue here.

Turns out Warp Prism really is run by just one guy, Jong-Moon Kim, under the alias Jake Frink. The old Teevox is dead, this is just using the same name.
So apart from the fake name (my last name is neither Cassel nor Castle, however I am not asking for donations) there was no lying here.
Looks like all the people who quickly pass an unjustified judgement (the original reddit) and the TLers who condemned Warp Prism all look pretty stupid now.

He lied about Warp Prism's origins for promotion. That's what made people upset in the first place. Look at this: http://imgur.com/qtes1

It was deceitful.
How is that lying? Did you even read the article? He had something already from a failed startup, fast forward a few months he found him self at that problem then he realized he already had something to work with and thus created Warp-prism...
The only thing "deceitful" this guy has done is use an alias
Edit: I guess you want your site to be more than Starcraft. I see now... Still I think you should consider a name that says gaming in some way or other.

blizzard won't let him use warpprism
Try www.wellplayed.tv - and there you won't have this whole drama about "not who they say they are."
The developer tells all, on cam. After listening to him i support this project even more. My only problem, the justin.tv situation with the ads is something he has been working on with justin.tv.
Edit: Reddit rip, so I don't agree on the lame part.

It's shit like this that made me delete my reddit account many a month ago. Which sucks, because despite the torrent of shitty rage comics and less than funny game screenshots and constant complaints about TL moderators, there's a lot of great links in there that I would not otherwise find.
That said, I've never actually used Warp Prism before, but it seems good. Didn't realize it did so many different live streams, might be fun to use.

did he say if we're going tog et the new teevox app for free when that comes out
WarpPrism is brilliant, and if my math is right, it is a stream client that contributes significant bottom-line to the streamers that are the bedrock of our industry. Keep up the good work, WarpPrism! Don't let a bunch of juveniles hold your hard work prisoner. Remember that r/sc is not StarCraft, they're no longer relevant, there are plenty of communities like TL that will supports you!

What a disgraceful witchhunt, I cant wait to be able to compensate this poor guy through donations for his great work, whenever the hivemind will lay down the pitchforks
But I'm not too sure on this bagging on /r/starcraft. You have to remember it is the voice of the people and as regular users we can be apart of the solution. Personally I didn't buy into all the 'rage' that was there, I read through the OP_IS_MASTERS crap and still couldn't really perceive what was wrong with WarpPrism.
A whole lot of hype for nothing, you need to keep in mind the 'moderation' of /r/Starcraft is just of regular users so before blindly accepting something or just simply bandwagoning just think about it! There is so much quality stuff on /r/Starcraft that gets ignored simply because of crappy meme's or mob mentality rage.
Awesome tool. My suggestion would be adding stream names (and possibly stream quality selection) to the thumbnail videos in PiP. Either on hover or as a static in corners or something
This is most likely the greatest thing ever, I don't know what I would do for a application that I could just open on my desktop for this....I would prolly do anything. Thank you
