Their discussion on the replicant was 100% nonsense because they were wrong about some of the details of how it works... I mean they could have just read the reddit link djwheat posted and they would have been fine... 10 minutes of research before the show and it would have been fine. Cmon guys, pick it up ![]()

Cmon guys, pick it up ![]() PainUser completely misrepresented the Browder/Kennigit interview as well. As well as just a ton of general misunderstanding or misinformation in general. It is just really frustrating to listen to. Continuing on from that debacle, they then go on to discuss the specifics of units that are in a pre-Alpha state, which is non-sense as clearly they will be tweaked and actually balanced. It is baffling that any serious show would even have this discussion. And to top it off, djWHEAT assumes the role of the arbiter, laying down claims as to whether something is op or not when he has two professional players that would actually be competent to proclaim such things, even if they are utterly useless as no balancing has gone into the design. So frustrated with this show. I really hope that SotG does not follow up on this non-sense.

Also they talked about how fragile it is and difficult it will be to use because you have to replicate/micro in battle. But it has unlimited range, so with an observer spotting, you can replicate from the other side of the map.

Well they've done a good job of mostly sticking to conceptualizing how a unit will work and whether that would break it for the most part. Like they did with arc shield/recall. Hopefully they stick to that the entire way.

To hear these people (minus Machine, who has been unvocal about these things) cry imbalance at this point makes me very fearful about how people will behave themselves on Starcraft forums.

Pros are more of a direct mirror / representation of "the masses" than they like to believe. ^_^

Obviously, some units will remain imbalanced for a while but it'll be significantly better than it is now. They definitely bring up good points though like HotS is going to change sooooooo much less than BW did, like there are very little to no changes gameplay wise which I don't like. It feels like I'm buying a dlc for 10 dollars. I agree. Except its not going to be $10.
