Currently in Gold again... I have this tendency to constantly switch races, so now I play Random and I'm 'hopefully' sticking with it

Last season I had been promoted to plat.

I had a nice 57-58% wlr and one day I came online after some days of not playing and I found myself in a ZvP where I got 4 gate into pieces. I insulted him because he is a toss player (as zergs do) and ragequit the game and got promoted to plat. My mood changed from -________" to ^.^

Poor 4 gating toss got insulted for pushing me into plat :/ (Yet I found it weird to be promoted after a lose XD)

I JUST got promoted to gold! i was on a real winning streak after having one of those moments. you know those moments, when you suddenly get a whole lot better? well, i had one of those and afterwards everything seemed easy. I went on a winning streak that wouldnt stop, i basically played only gold the last 20 or so games and today i lost once, looked at the dude and so that he was plat!

i felt kind of awsome after that, but unfortunately mismicrod in the next game and lost my whole force at my natural in shakuras when a bunch of mm stormed up the ramp. i went into the next game feeling still elated at being placed against a plat player and won. to top it all off i was promoted to gold!

what was weird though were two things: the guy i won against was silver ( i guess he too was at the verge of being promoted) and i got promoted after a win. i heard almost everywhere that promotions usually occurr after a loss. long story short, it was awwwwwwsome! promotion always feels good!

I've been playing against so many peopel that don't early pressure that a 15 hatch is my standard build and i did enough to get into Silver with it. Then went on a 6 game losing streak after two silver wins, and then got 7 wins in a row.

Basically it was a simple game where I stomped a silver zerg and the promotion screen came up.

I also rofl stomped a gold terran who didn't know how to expand into his nat with enough units or any bunkers and I had zerglings and ovies scouting the entire map.... It was probably the single worst game of his life. His BO was completely whack and I think that's why he just left without a gg- he was playing horribly and I owned hte entire map with creep going all the way to his nat. I hope this win helps the blizzard system promote me up again.

I have been diamond in my serious account, but the ladder was locked for the smurf account. So, today, after I fought a bunch of mothhter f'ers, I finally got the promotiosn screen. here is a picture:

Now I can tell ppl that I am diamond. FEAR ME!

Congrats on the promotion longtang, I always love the promotion screen since it just pops up without you even thinking you will get it soon enough often times and idk every time I have gotten it in solo and team I just feel so good about everything. Masters here you come! :D

Was tierd of never getting promote. 6 pooled against a toss on SS he raged about it left the game. And vola promote

I remember my first promotion pretty well. I had placed into silver, played about 20-ish games. Then finally, came a game where a Zerg tried to 6pool me. I held it off pretty easily (this was before the Zealot build time nerf), and my opponent left when I counterattacked. Viola, promotion. It's like the game was testing me. "Oh, so can you handle a 6pool? Cool!" *Gold*

Played the beta as much as I could. Got placed in Silver on release date which I felt didn't reflect my level. Quickly worked up my way to Platinum and stagnated there for the rest of Season 1. Got placed in Diamond in Season 2 and worked my way up to #1 of my division.

Currently trying to break into Masters, although it feels like a very long and steep hill to climb yet. I mostly play Diamond players and get roflstomped by the few Masters I encounter (unless I cheese them of course mouhahaha).

When i started laddering in season 1 i got placed into bronze and worked my way up to gold until i was really close to get promoted to plat,but ladder restart came too soon

theni won my placement match in season 2 and BAM =Plat

I started to get better and better and about 3 weeks ago i was really really close to diamond. beating about 70% of my diamond oponnents with only macro games ,no cheese at all.

then suddenly every thing fall apart. I started to make stupid mistakes,like f*cking my buildorders,microing bad etc. and got on a really bad losing streak and lost to diamond and plat players (lost about 20 of my last 30 games)
now i have to play against gold players and i destroy them most of the time.

unfornatuely i lost all my motivation because beeing so close to diamond and then falling down that far is so humiliating

started in bottom bronze with like 1-20 win/loss, then i heard day9 say i gotta make workers and just have more stuff, started doing that and now im random top diamond without playing that much

Played D broodwar till starcraft2 beta.
Got placed into platnum.
Stayed there ever since.
If only I played as much as i watched and read tho -_-

i got SC II in September 2010, didn't play the beta. i 've been through bronze, silver, gold.. diamonds last season, top 5 diamond in my league play around 800k games.
this season i dont play much coz i work full time and go to school. i spend average 1-2 hours play everyday.

today i got promoted to Master league after 150 games i think. with a win - lose 9x-6x

for me playing sc ii is fun, i enjoy playing with my friends or vs random people on ladder.
SC forever.

Got placed in Silver, like 4 matches later was promoted to Gold. Played about 30-35 matches and bumped me straight to Diamond. Stopped playing for a while, and when I came back during Season 2 and it made me play an other placement match, I off raced and beat the guy I was playing and it stuck me in Masters.

After getting to diamond the week before the ladder lock, it demoted me once the ladder was reset to Plat despite me winning my placement match :p... so ive been working my way back...

Anyways, last night i was playing a Z and opened with DTs into an expand. My opponent didnt have Lair yet,which im surprised about, since he had gotten a drone into my base along with 4 lings after a miss click and saw that i had relatively nothing but had x2 gas going not to mention Just before my DT Shrine had finished an Overlord peeked into my base and saw what i was doing

but luckily enough it was literally just finishing so i warped in 3 DTs and got to his base before his Evo chamber was finished. He then pushed with all his roaches, which wasnt the smartest idea since he had no mobile detection.. i killed his push off with 2 more DTs, some sentries and a load of zealots. When i realized he had only 2 Spine crawlers defending his natural, i pushed in and won. I got to the score screen and was delightfully greeted by a promotion to Diamond :D

I met up with a friend on ladder and he got demoted to diamond I was trying really hard one day to get promoted to masters. I felt so fucking low, never getting into masters and removing my friends from there lol.

mine was less then climatic... never played an RTS before placed platnium after placement less then 20 games later was diamond... then the day masters came out was promoted to masters.

I bought the game on release day. Beat story... Then i tried multiplayer. FAIL so hard. Stop playing for a little. I saw a huskystarcraft video on youtube. So i started to watch vod and reps of good player and study there play. And i played lost a lot then i learned mechanics. Then i started to kill in bronze got up to silver and stayed for a little. Took a little brake and played hardcore for a long time and got to plat. And thats where i am now.

I started in Bronze when I first bought the game, was just messing around trying to pick a race, I then picked toss got to gold and discovered this thing called a 4gate, used that to get to diamond then switched race to zerg because I found toss boring. When masters came out I got into that about 1-2 weeks after release and now I'm still not in GM

I got bored of ZvP so I started 6pooling. I 6pooled 3 games in a row and won. Then I faced one random player who 5 seconds into the game leaves because he didn't want Terran. I got promoted to masters.
