Depends, as Z or P i have no problem hitting que because i know my matchups and have a good feel of everything.
Been practicing T a lot more lately, im so weak in mirror and vZ right now i cannot get myself to hit the search button haha.

To those of you who don't get nervous from playing SC2, I would hate to not give you a way to participate, please post down below why laddering doesn't ruffle your feathers. Possible things to mention would be why you don't mind losing (assuming you don't), your outlook on points, and how much you play per day.
If I'm on a losing streak I still continue to play because losing is part of the process to become a better player. It's impossible to become a better player without losing games. When I lose I just repeat the same things which means BO/scouting pattern except I adjust a little with the knowledge what I could have done the game before that (after watching replay).
You cannot progress without failing (in this case a lot of failing). I always blame myself when I lose because in the end you're the person that has to win the game and not the opponent that has to lose it for you. So I rage to myself when I lose even if my opponent won by some cheese but I always press that button to ladder.

I just cant ladder if I know i will get interrupted, like someone calling or the phone ringing. Other than that lossing sucks and close the game if i get mad then get back and watch the replay.

I'm only nervous if it's the first Ladder Match Of the day that I'm about to play. Usually after that it's fine.
If you're nervous about Laddering because you think you're going to loose, hit the button, play your best and if you loose, tell yourself theres something flawed about what YOU did and don't cry about imbalance. Look at the replay and try to understand what you're doing wrong, then, hit the "Find Match" button and try to concentrate on improving on what you did.

originally i would be hesitant to click find match, but that was early release, now i just log on, play several games and dont really get nervous, i think for most people, its because they arent used to the whole ladder aspect

It really depends on so many things. Some days I sit in front of the screen and assure myself this is going to be another day in rapetown (to my favor) - and then it happens.
Other times I lose the most retarded games. After a big lose streak, I don't get nervous, but more furious and frustrated.
In the end, I never call it a day without winning the last game.

Yeah, its really just.... nervousing

I always get really nervous because when I lose it just reminds me of how terrible I am at the game, and even when I win I feel like I didn't "deserve" it because I make so many mistakes. Whenever I lose I just get worse because I'm upset. Also I have very little time to play so I haven't had time to get used to streaks yet.

I'm in Bronze. During my Season 2 placement match, I did an MM rush and my hands were literally shaking and it was hard for me to control my army lol.

So far I'm on a 10 winning streak in 1v1 diamond. Just went against a toss ZvP and it was the most epic match I've played in a long time. I'm kinda scared cause I know eventually I'll lose and it's just hard to press play!

was doing good and holding my own, now i'm down 6 games and almost back to 50% -_- don't wanna hit the play button now..
|
No, I hate starting out like a noob and I want to be the best by taking the least shortcuts. I want to be some magical undiscovered talent.
......that's how I think, anyways, even though I know it's not true T.T
I guess it's whether or not you think the trade-off - practicing to get good at a game - is worth it. To me it isn't.

I used to be very nervous about playing ladder. I feel fine about it now. I used to play smurf accounts so that I wouldn't be messing up my own ranking. It seemed like after a certain amount of games I stopped being nearly as worried about losing.
|
Considering TvP is my worst match up, I get pretty nervous whenever I play one on ladder. Yesterday, I played 6 games, and 5 of them were Toss. I was pretty damn nervous going into every game.
I sometimes get nervous in TvZ just because I'm so scared of muta harass and a baneling bust. xD
TvT is my best matchup, so I' never get nervous when I play against a Terran.

I love to ladder but when it comes to 4vs4 this season... It has been horrible going like 1-9 for a few days then turn around and go like 6-0... I get pissed off because games my team should of won is given up to mass voids even when they got nerf
|
Just lost 2 games vs P/T ... I'm raging so badly now and I'm already banned on bnet forums, don't know what to do x( Oh, and I wanted to close firefox with task manager because it was lagging me in game and accidentally closed SC2 during the first two minutes of the game. FML

Not nervous at all anymore. When I first started laddering I was, like, "What if I lose?", but I now I feel fine about it. I don't really get mad losing if I know what I've done wrong and how to adjust my game plan, but if I lose to some silly proxy pylon in my main I get frustrated. Usually take a break if I feel that way. Sometimes I like taking breaks after barely winning because I feel so extatic that I just can't sit. Really fun :D I love beating cheeses too, so not really angsty about any of those, but I do get a bit lost whenever I am up against a 200/200 death ball. Gold zerg, btw

I'm afraid of 1v1 x_x I can get very nervous under pressure or against someone I know is very good, if I don't go into a game believing I can win then chances are I won't :/
