How hard can it be?

It's fine to have half an hour or so analyzing the games before each broadcast. Early birds have something to watch and interested viewers can get some background info before each match.
What I would like is more of is analysis of the specific matchup. Who player x has played in vP before and how much success he has had, also match history between the specific players is good to know. What I would like to see less of is trying to make it seem like "anyone could win" in every match. That might fool some initially thereby gaining a few viewers in the short run. In the long run people will see through it though, and stop watching the prematch hype as "they always say same thing".
The new graphic background is a big improvement. You also seem to sit higher which is good. Remove the counter to enable viewers to catch your body language.

Can we not play music while casters are speaking, or while people are being interviewed? It makes me want to mute the stream, not watch it

I love what the NASL has done in terms of improving graphics, set quality, audio issues.
And so far, after the first match of day4-1, Gretorp has really impressed me in terms of casting improvements!
GJ guys

A backlight! on Gretorp and iNc to help separate them from the green screen.
otherwise, great job so far!

More suggestions: Don't be overly immature and insulting when covering a game that is lopsided. It's just not cool. Being critical is fine. Critical does not equal insulting. There is a reason Day9 and Tasteosis have had such a strong following. But hey, it's not my show.

This is a minute point, but something I think they should consider. Currently the players get minus points for losing, I`m against that. It usually works better with a system where you get 0 points for the worst result and get increasingly more points for performing well. The reason I prefer it is largely psychological, negative numbers convey pessimism and general.. negativeness, having a 0--> positive score sheet, instead of a Negative-->0--->Positive score sheet would be better. It also helps sort of show how far you have gotten into a season depending on how high the scores are.

Stop calling people idiots/dumb. Its depressing. Be more mature.

This is a little thing but take the standings and point totals off the front page of the site, if I go to the site to watch the vods I don't want to see for example that Ace is 4-0 when previously I knew that he was 3-0. I watch the games for entertainment first, inspiration and analysis second and knowing the outcome beforehand kills it for me.

I'd like to add my voice to those requesting that you not call GG before the player makes that decision for himself (or does something obvious like spawning Overseers to go look at the opponent's base before leaving). It always makes me feel like the caster's are trying to call the outcome of the game as early as possible to make themselves appear more knowledgable about the game, which feels immature and also looks very silly in the occasional cases where their prediction is wrong.
My other issue at the moment is that the 3-minute pauses from the live broadcast, as well as dead air from the beginning of the cast, are left in the VODs. Since JTV lags so badly for me if I don't buffer about half the video before I start, I find it very obnoxious that I have to buffer several minutes of contentless video that I'll just skip over anyhow. Since a VOD can be paused, there's no reason to leave such a large buffer between games, and there's no reason at all to have a buffer prior to the broadcast beginning.
Finally, I would really appreciate it if it would be possible to remove the link to JustinTV from the embedded video. I repeatedly have the following experience: I load the video, wait five minutes for it to buffer, then go to full screen and start watching. At some point I want to pause, but misclick and end up redirected to JustinTV and with my buffer lost. Either moving the link into a text or button near the video, or making the link open in a new tab (so that my buffer isn't lost) would solve the problem.
I'm enjoying the games more and more with each week. Keep up the good work, guys!

I hate nothing more than some caster trying to put tension in a game that is all but over, it's like a caster trying to missread the game on purpose to create some excitement that just isn't there.
If there is 5:0 in Football or whatever other Sport the commentator will also not talk about the enormous offensive capabilities of the "0" team trying to make it more exciting than it is... Why doesn't he do it? Because he would look retarded.

Spoiler alert for IPL Stop spoiling things, I'd say 2 weeks is sufficient time for people to watch an event. But spoiling that + Show Spoiler +was very lame, and I watched IPL live. Just ticked me off. And yes, hinting towards spoilers is lame too. I could imagine incontrol saying something along the lines of "well I don't wanna spoil the results for IPL but lemme tell ya, EG did VERY well!"

ROFL, 2 Weeks?
Seriously... Do you cry when someone has told you who won the superbowl/wimbledon/the olympics or whatever a day after it's over?
|
if they havent seen ipl by now or know the results its there fault. Not to mention the results have been spoiled before the event was even over

True, but in this matter please keep in mind that most of EU still has to watch it.

Better microphones/sound engineering. You can clearly hear both of you clicking your mice during casting.

My issue is with calling a game when one side merely has a large advantage. There have been a few cases already in which the commentators called the game for one side, only to have the other player stage a comeback. In such a situation, it was obviously a mistake to announce that the game was over.

Which also happens in Football/Soccer and tons of other sports sometimes (someone going easy 2-0 in Sets in Tennis but winninge 2-3 in the end). But a good commentator will probably still call it "game" and be wrong about it, this makes "comebacks" even more exciting and enhances the viewer experience..

Would just like to add my voice to the calls for lower quality vods. You guys are doing a great job, and I really enjoy the NASL when I can catch it live, but the vod streaming situation really makes it difficult to watch them (massive streaming time, large bandwidth requirement).
I understand that these issues take time to resolve, but would just like to underline how important an problem this is. As much as I want to support you guys, not being able to use the thing I pay for is a little irksome.
