OP is completely unreasonable and out of freaking arguments. Branding a near "yall racist" post to kelly's critics (which I am, even got some bans for it) should be punishable as well as "badmouthing" miss kelly milkies
If I weren't mistaken, they're cycling through the casters right? Doa being the next in rotation after Kelly?
I don't think she's fired but rather the contract will end soon. With the rather negative response from the English community at the very start, she is unlikely to get an extension anyway.
I feel bad for the lady, but I (my mother tongue is Mandarin btw) found her English to be rather difficult to understand at times. The trolls on the forums went way too far of course...

I don't think I ever complained and I couldn't stand listening to her. I muted my stream whenever she was on.
From my point of view I'm inclined to believe that people complained WAY tooooooooo little.

You're an asshole. People like you made her leave/get fired (whatever happened). This community has been absolute garbage to her. I honestly feel sorry for Kelly.
Do you mean that people should not give feedback on commentators at all ? Is there some sort of contract which makes people have to like everyone just because they are somehow involved with starcraft ? They may have gone about feedback in a nicer way but since this is casting, I highly doubt how people are going to get the point across without being a bit personal. I think she'll be a good caster in her native tongue since she has decent knowledge of the game but as far as english cast is concerned I did not prefer to listen to her.

Yep, even Kelly said in Torch's gf interview that she only stays in Korea until sometime in March. We all know that this is going to happen.

You know what? I feel sorry for her too, she seems like a nice person and a lot of the complaints about her were seriously hyperbolic. However on the other hand I HAVE been muting the stream, it's just too much for me.
I do wish her good luck, but I don't think it's needed, I think she will be doing just fine.
That's a shame. Just the fact that she was female alone was bringing in more attention to SC2, like female commentators/interviewers do in FPS games. I seriously hope she keeps her chin up and learns from the experience, with thoughts of returning in mind

exactly what Gom told us. They are giving several casters a test period. I for one would like to see kelly return, i was starting to appreciate her enthusiasm and ofc her vicious artosis payback for dissing idra. good stuff. if it ever where to come to a vote she would have mine.
thats a good day for the starcraft community, the most important aspect of being able to cast is being able to speak. She wasnt able to speak understandable english so she got fired. If you cant do the job you applied for you get fired thats just how it works. Yeah Gom said that they are doing tryouts and people leaving korea doesnt mean she is fired - but lets be honest if they wouldnt fire her they would be pretty stupid.

What a shame. I feel a lot of people had a misconception of Kelly going into the code A season. So much so that I don't think many people even gave her a chance (putting it on mute). She wasn't hard to understand, she just has a thick Singaporean accent. I can understand everything she says, even if she struggles with certain words...
I was pretty ashamed when the community lashed out in such a negative way without even giving her a chance. This just further adds to it.
Edit: Also my advice for the future. Don't jump on the negative band wagon if you see one. Be the better person and see for yourself.
No shame in calling a bad caster bad. Its not worth being nice to someone if the trade off is an unenjoyable viewing experience in the gsl. Kelly was just a bad caster for the level of tournament that was the gsl. Doa is actually a pretty solid caster and a much needed improvement over kelly.
