It has nothing to do with her nationality.

If we pay for the service, we have the right to speak.She could have been from anywhere around the world if she spoke English like tasteless and artosis. It was nice to see a female caster but I would like to see a caster with better language skills.

Way to go.

The most important part of casting is clarity and i hated trying to put my full concentration to hear her. It is super annoying even though its not really something she can help. I think the viewers deserve more than what kelly could provide.

What are you saying OP? That one isn't allowed to complain about something one don't like? Why are you trying to make us feel some kind of guilt just because she wouldn't get a renewed contract? I for one am really glad to hear about this, it's nice to see that GOM actually cares about the feedback they get.

As an ordinary looking female asian professional gamer she was pretty much guarrenteed to fail to impress the western male audience. Just get any good looking girl or funny guy and it will be fine.

I didn't like her accent either but if she got fired because of the communities response then that's harsh as it should be a poll on Gom.TV subscribers and not what people say on forums.

John has already posted on the GOM boards about this. the GSl are using this season and next season of the league as try outs for new casters. We'll probably see a few new faces over the coming months, until GOM pick permanent Code A casters.

I didn't like her, but its sad that shes going. doa is doing a pretty good job, so hopefully they'll get a good caster. I'm not a fan of moletrap so...hopefully they find someone else.

She definitly was trying hard to make herself sound as understandable as possible. However I think she should take some training so her English comes over alot cleaner. You hardly can blame her taking such a job, this is purely GOM's mistake in taking her as a caster.

No, no one fucked up except for the good people at Gom who hired an incompetent caster. Once that was done then Kelly being fired at some point was unavoidable.

Kelly is a grown woman and I'm sure that she was aware of the challenges that lay ahead of her as she pursued a career as a caster.

I can't say I liked to listen to her but I also wasn't complaining about her. Kinda mixed feelings now tbh. I like the fact I'll probably enjoy Code A more now, but on the other hand I'm sad it went like this. She did her best and she was actually improving a lot. I guess the accent was too much for most of the complainers.

I hope she won't take this too badly and leave the scene. She had passion for the game.
