Alot of Protoss' are spoiled. In BW they didn't have this Upgrade and storm was still scary. And dont argue damage. Units in BW didn't clump up as much.


they did have the upgrade,but instead of giving +25 energy at the start they gave them a faster regen rate.

The Overseer/Brood Lord nerf seems like a bug to me. I bet you anything that the Baneling morph costs 75 min/25 gas.

I called this a while back. I knew that once people found viable ways to use new units, they would get nerfed because other people failed to adapt.

(I imagine in multiplayer this will be a rampant problem, rather than situational in 1v1)

It's probably a bug as these changes aren't in the patch notes.



I really hope so, otherwise Blizzard's ears might not be as attuned as they claim they are. I've heard from various Zerg players that one of their biggest issues is scouting. I think maybe David Kim needs a few other professionals around him full time, it doesn't seem like community is getting the patch changes it wants. We shall see though, no need to go overboard at this juncture.

the problem with storm is not dmg or aoe. the problem is, it's a very decent spell that is effective against majority of terran and/or zerg units, and lategame you can have it instant and anywhere because of amulet + warp-in. this is somewhat op.

i feel like changing amulet to give only +20 energy would be much better and cool change.

I absolutely agree. Plus, this will force protoss players to play with some foresight concerning the warp-ins of their templar. Which ain't a bad thing.

Overseer at 250/100, when you include the cost of the overlord - compared to a cloaked observer at 25/75.

Archon toilets can still happen.

They just don't kill everything now,but most of the units die.

This makes mothership pretty much useless since toileting units is 50% of why the mothership was used in the first place. Now it's totally not worth the price of stargate+beacon+mothership.

High Templers HUUUUGE nerf. HTs gave Protoss a timing window where they can do damage. Terran lost their stim timing, but still has their raven tank timing, so idk how PvT is going to work anymore.
