"Hi Jroy!!" Alot of Protoss' are spoiled. In BW they didn't have this Upgrade and storm was still scary. And dont argue damage. Units in BW didn't clump up as much. I absolutely agree. Plus, this will force protoss players to play with some foresight concerning the warp-ins of their templar. Which ain't a bad thing.

Could someone explain this to me. Why are they locking the leagues? I can't figure out why that would do any good.
I'd assume "Season 2" will start shortly (couple months) after patch 1.3 goes live. Basically they'll be resetting the ladder so instead of say a silver player shooting to move into gold (and drop down to 90th in that division) he should be getting as high in his silver league as possible (go go rank 1). The entire league/division system is completely pointless in the first place and provides motivation to gullible people. There's really no sense in worrying about it.
The balance changes look pretty interesting. The warp in storms anywhere mechanic getting removed should require some play style changes. You can still leave a single HT at each vulnerable drop point where it will get enough energy for a storm to fend off drops. You just won't have them available anywhere on the map on the fly like before so you can change a losing battle into a win by warping in a couple storms.

Something i have to add is that colossus is much more boring to play and watch than HT. Nerfing HT like this not only will be a big blow to protoss and force it to always have colossus, mainly vs T, and encorage terrans to go bio (really boring to watch). I'd rather see protoss using storms, and terran going mech. Incomparable times much more fun to watch and play. Please blizzard, listen to what the players are saying...

As allready mentioned the ht nerf is quite devastating for the protoss game variaty. So blizzard only wants to see colossus? hm... kinda boring. I would totally understand some kind of colossus nerf and even a reduction/removing of the amulet but then protoss needs either a gateway unit buff (what is most likely impossible due to 4gate) or a cheaper a faster ht tech. When i want to play ht's i need to go robo first because of the freakin flying dt's and then the other way around to ht's.... The stim "nerf" is quite unimportant (?) because what is more devastating to all other army compositions is the strength of stimed marines and not the timing attacks with stim. I would just suggest that the terren units can die to a stim when they have to low hp or just cant stim when they are below 10hp or something.^^

I'm glad about the HT nerf...now people (as in BW) will have to strategically build HT's early and let their energy accumulate before they get the super benefit of storm. The overseer/brood lord thing has to be a joke...rofl 250 mins, 100 gas for a detector is hilariously broken.
Absolutely hate the alerts...that's what skill is all about, knowing in your head when stuff is ready. They make high templars require skill, but then make macro mechanics a joke? I don't get it.

Grandmaster league is disappointing but atleast it somewhat stops random people making it :l

Should encourage more people to ladder, and not be scared of losing.
