What do you guys do when you're on a losing streak? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
So many losses in a row.

2.) Wait one day. 3.) Watch some of your replays 4.) Observe the decisions that you made that led to your losses. You will often find a pattern when you're on a losing streak. If you think things like "I had really bad scouting yesterday and never took the watch towers" or "I was way in the lead here but was just too scared to attack," this is good. If you think things like "God I just fucking sucked I'm a loser" this is bad. Wait one more day. And go back to step 3. Alternatively, you can use the search feature to look up the roughly 70000 existing threads that have asked this exact same question. But you probably just wanted to vent more than you wanted an actual response so now that you've done that, hopefully things will improve.

I've had the worst day i've ever had in sc2, literally on a 90% loss rate atm. I tried doing some funky stuff like CC first on Shak in a TvT but instead of just putting the CC at my nat i put it on his side of the map for giggles.... didn't work out too well lol Thinking of loggin on to EU where I'm still in plat so i can make myself feel good by stomping some plats. I suggest downloading Bloodline champions and messing about on that, great game, good fun and totally NOT SC2 ;p

This can usually happens when you are trying to brute force a certain build or playstyle when its clearly not working due to meta game shifts.

I won't do anything associated with SC2 until I feel like I'm relaxed and ready to play again. That includes not opening the SC2 client, not watching replays or VODs, and *gasp* not frequenting the TL.net forums. First and foremost, the game of Starcraft is supposed to be a fun and joyful experience for me. When it starts to take over my emotions, that's when I know I've been pushed too far and need to take a break. It's not like I'm a professional SC2 player where I get paid to play. I'm just a normal gamer who likes SC2 and enjoys playing it in my spare time. If it gets to the point where I'm completely mad, I'll just turn off the computer and go do something else. A great way to take out the aggression is to go to the gym and have yourself a nice workout. We all know that gamers aren't necessarily the best looking people out there. Face it, the majority of us are either super skinny or pushing the edge of morbidly obese. If not any of those two, you're just an average person who lacks definition. If not, then the world of e-sports should plaster your face and body everywhere to get rid of our stereotype. Back from the tangent... By working out you're able to release your anger and put it towards something a lot more productive that will not only clear out your mind mentally, but also benefits you physically as exercise is very important in having a healthy lifestyle. Once I feel like I'm ready to come back, I start playing custom games again, hopefully against lower-ranked players to boost my ego. After a while, I'll get used to playing better competition and start playing at the level that I used to be at, and maybe even better. For me, Starcraft is a game that I should enjoy. If I'm not enjoying it, there's no reason for me to continue playing it. I have other things to do in life ![]()

What do you guys do when you're on a losing streak? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. When Im on a losing streak I just play more games. I think my biggest one was 2-15 or so. I played very well in terms of macro and mid game play but I always jumped the gun in situations like a 20min or so ZvT when I was getting pushed by tank/marine or something. What makes me want to stop playing is when I win 3 or so in a row and I don't want to lose points. Only makes a little sense but whatevsies.

Give yourself a day or two away from Starcraft 2 and when you come back, you will play better. It works. Also, you can play some custom maps.... Tower D and Nexus Wars always makes me feel better after I get pwned. Good luck with the healing.

Sometimes I'd be afraid that if I took too long a break from SC2 I'd get rusty. Sometimes though, I'd come back after maybe a month better than I was before I took the break. It's all mental sometimes.
