(I don't actually know but this would make sense since leenock can play the game and not be arrested for it and is allowed to play in the GSL)
Do the players under 18 have to sign consent forms to be allowed to play the game or something? Or maybe their parents/gaurdians?

In Denmark they're only there for guidance, in theory a 5 year old kid could walk into a GameStop and buy whatever game he wanted to.
Also, weren't there some turmoil about the Korean government threatening to give the game higher ratings if blizzard didn't change the eula?

Ah so thats what those things were haha. Thanks for the clarification.

"폭력성" means violence "약물" means drug
in korea, World of warcraft also has "약물(drug)" alert because of its alchemy things (elixir, potion.. etc)

Didn't SC:BW have stim packs? As far as i know lots of kids play SC:BW in Korea so i doubt they are very strict interms of enforcing those laws

Are you guys sure it's only because of stim packs? There's some heavy drinking and smoking going on in single player as well. If stim packs are really the problem, they just should have gotten rid of those completely. Ask any Zerg. :p

Are u sure about this whole Stim pack stuff? ^^ I think this icon only wants to warn u that this game could make u adicted... ^^

Pretty sure there's something about drugs in the campaign isn't there?

I believe they use a 12+ (or 13+ whatever) version in GSL. Stimpack did contribute to SC2 initially receiving its 18+ rating, but it is only one of the many reasons.
So, for posts above asking if players like Leenock has to sign certain forms, he doesn't.

What about the smoking? Both games have cigarettes / cigars and is probably a contributing factor.

Lol... more proof Terran ruined the game. Sc2 got a violence rating because of TvT with humans getting shot. and Sc2 got a drug rating cause of Terran Marines and Marauders using to drugs to cheat game mechanics and turn tier 1 units tier 3. haha!
|
Well, I'd always wondered what those were, But I'm sick of seeing this anti-stim stuff. I don't even play terran and it's annoying as hell.

That is what I heard. I think the WoL campaign played a big role in getting that 18+ rating. I believe the cutscenes may have been slightly modified for the 12+ version (not certain on this) and they toned down violence a bit in the multiplayer portion (black blood, etc.).
