please refrain from balance talk and write only the stuff you managed to pull out of the patch.

like chat channels and 35 second phoenix.

leave the balance for the progamers.

3/4 of the high level games will keep being either cheese or camping fest into A+move.

People will still abuse cannon rush against Zerg. You can still do pylon block, and its not that much harder. I lost to it on the PTR first time it was tried against me, even pooling first.

You misread his comment. Read it again. Neither stim or 6 pool are getting nerfed.


Blizz did say that they were looking at stimmed marines from what I remember, so it may happen sometime in near future.

Patch notes weren't updated at the time I patched my client. Probably won't be for a while, knowing Blizzard's record with these things.

Oh please, progamers know as little about balance as the next guy. Having sick mechanics and awareness hardly exempts you from the basic omniprevelent human flaw of subconsciously desperately trying to find a different reason than your own failure for a loss. Pro zerg players say zerg is up, pro terrans say the same of terran, pro protoss players the same of protoss.

Leave balance debate to random players I'd say.
Workers and town centres are the ultimate counter to turtles.

You're an idiot if you expect mega changes every month that will change how the game is played. The game is fine as it is now, and 3/4 of the game is not cheese or camping fest, where they hell did you get that from.

Brood War was fine tuned the same way. I mean, look at how imba people were saying PvT were, there were no changes and now Protoss has a higher winning % against T in GSL3.

These small changes are absolutely better than huge changes that MAY or MAY NOT work.

If you can't defend a 6 pool, it's your fault. Not the games fault.


Funny this is the same argument made against reapers. Yet, they got nerfed. 6 pool is broken in team games, not in solo. Yes Blizzard officially said, and have made changes to balance team games.

Stim is for all levels. I didn't see anyone disagree with that.

Edit - by 6 pool i mean pooling before first OL. Doesn't have to be 6. 8-9 pools are far more effective but bring up the same problem.

Hey guys just a query about patching. When I start SC2 I get through to the log in screen then immediatly go back to desktop. I have been playing on the NA server earlier today. Anyway I can remedy this?

At Blizzcon they mentioned it in a Q+A. Stimmed marines are too effective (or effective throughout too much of the game) versus their cost.
