If you wanted to nerf 6 pools then the best option would be to increase the starting number of workers to 8 or so. That way, the earliest Zerg could pool would be on 8, and build orders would be unchanged. But there is no need to nerf the 6 pool, its already pretty terrible as it is. Its only viable against protoss on four player maps praying they don't scout you first. Against zerg or random on 4 player maps I always go for 10 gate. A lot safer that way.

Might be a little more powerful because you can get the required mass sooner, but as I said, they still are light dmg air to air. Stim still hasn't been nerfed. Zerg can still 6 pool, while BOTH of the other races require a food building first. These are the biggest, most needed changes right now to balance the game not only for 1v1, but for team games as well. They might require some additional balance changes to be implemented effectively, but when those changes finally go through the game will be significantly more balanced. i dont want to degrade this into balance stupidity but, stim is getting nerfed? if so how? (reserving my own judgment on the issue) is this an opinion or something you know for sure? just to clarify, zergs now have to go like 6 ovie, 6 pool? You misread his comment. Read it again. Neither stim or 6 pool are getting nerfed. Blizz did say that they were looking at stimmed marines from what I remember, so it may happen sometime in near future. Sorry, But when did you hear this. I nver heard of them talking about stim. At Blizzcon they mentioned it in a Q+A. Stimmed marines are too effective (or effective throughout too much of the game) versus their cost. That's nice to hear. Thanks for the reply.

That guy was saying he thinks something SHOULD happen to them. And he's a nimrod. Hey retarded. Don't call me names when I'm significantly more experienced at this game and smarter than you. Maybe try to take the ideas in context before you dismiss them outright. Stim nerf refers to all levels. It's broken. Movement speed either needs to be reduced, or marauders need a slower attack rate or both. The kitability of mm at the highest level is simply broken and has no counter in the early game. It dominates everything. Zerg 6 pooling was an example which is normally unlikely, but I know very few of you have played high level team games, mainly 2v2, because you would know that 8 pool in conjunction with marines or hellions from your partner is nearly an unstoppable build for Zerg and Protoss to deal with, which is why it will be nerfed, just like Terran Rax was nerfed. The change has almost no impact to legit 1v1 games, and only nerfs cheese, while making macro games more viable, at least in PvZ. So again, if you guys want to be jugdemental assholes because you have a different opinion, just shut the hell up. Thanks. User was warned for this post

Thanks. We're judgemental assholes because of the way you phrase it actually and the aggression you come here with, hardly because of your opinion. Thanks. what is this i dont even......trust me boy dont go around saying your smarter then people about the game. stim nerfed???? i have an idea instead of nerfing stuff why dont we just bring stuff to the level of stim?? did bw balance it self out because everything was weak as shit or because everything was op? but seriously... and blizzard SHOULD NOT be balancing the game around "top level 2v2" this game's prime focus is 1v1. and removing the option of cheese IS NOT the way to balance the game (i still believe the supply before rax change was stupid) but from some one more "experienced" at the game. you should already know that??? now gtfo of the thread with your bullshit balance preaching. the sc2 strat forum is that way >>> User was temp banned for this post.

I am not too good with Time Zones, 2PM AEST means in 2 or 3 hours, right ? I hope we'll be able to get some good info about Master League, how much games a player needs to get into this league, or if it will only needs 1 game after patch to promote an actual very high MMR player.
